The Unpacking demo is back again as part of Steam Next Fest! It will be available from now until Tuesday the 22nd of June.

Play the first two stages of Unpacking and explore four of the 35 rooms from the full game, coming out later this year.

Unpacking has had an exciting E3 so far! Here is everything that's been happening:

First of all, we released a new trailer!

This trailer premiered at IGN Expo. It contains several reveals:

• Two of the rooms in the third stage of Unpacking, which we've never shown before!
  
• Photo mode — with stickers!
  
• Unpacking is being published by Humble Games!
  
• In addition to PC, Unpacking is coming to the Nintendo Switch!
  

Our next event was Wholesome Direct (find us at 49:10):

In this one we reveal:

• The premise of stage three: You have housemates in this one!
  
• An additional new room, the living room!
  
• New feature: Floorplans! These make navigating larger levels easier and give additional context about your environment.
  
• Another new feature: Pinboards! Pin up drawings, postcards, and more.
  

Finally, we'd like to announce that the Unpacking demo will be returning once again on Wednesday for Steam Next Fest — And along with it we will be launching an Unpacking Discord! I'll be posting another update about both of these when they go up.

The Unpacking demo is available from now until Monday the 26th as part of LudoNarraCon, a digital convention celebrating narrative games.

Experience the first two stages of Unpacking and explore four of the 35 rooms from the full game, coming out later this year.

The demo is playable only for the duration of the event so don't miss out!

Join Creative Director Wren Brier and Technical Director Tim Dawson for a casual playthrough of the Unpacking demo as they reveal secrets and banter about where to put the toaster.

If you missed our demo back in September or if you just felt like playing it again, you'll be able to give it a go starting tomorrow!
