Travellers Rest Tribune 5

Greetings, Tavern Keeps!

As many of you saw earlier in the week, we shared a screen of the new cheese aging in the cellar. To offer a little more insight, this will provide lucrative opportunities for your tavern. Once you’ve placed a cheese rack, you’ll be able to age a variety of cheeses. Some will be featured in new recipes, offering new food choices that will be able to be sold at a high price. Others, such as mozzarella, will be able to be used fresh. Discerning travellers will love your expanded offerings.

We’d also like to mention a couple of further points regarding our roadmap. We’ve heard some concern in the community that some features players would like to see are not there, or perhaps won’t be included. To reiterate our roadmap plans, it is intended as a broad overview of some of the bigger content and features coming, but it is not all-inclusive, and there will be other things that will be brought into the game over the next few months and beyond.

To offer one example, customizing the tavern is one feature we know the community is asking for. Customizing both the decor and items you can place, as well as walls and floors are planned, but have not been placed on the roadmap. This simply means we haven’t locked in yet which update it will come along with. We hope that sharing this will help to alleviate any concern that the 3 months we’ve shown so far is all there is planned, or that our additions to the game during this time will be that strictly limited.

We will continue to listen to the community’s feedback and ideas, and also stamp out bugs as we find them. We’re so thankful for everyone hanging out in Discord and reporting bugs and issues, and letting us know what you’d like to see in the future for Travellers Rest! (We see you too, forum folks, much love to you as well!) If you want to become more involved with the game’s future plans, and to chat with us directly, please join us!

Bug Fix Patch 0.1.3.1

Greetings Tavern Keeps!

Today's patch has a few quick bug fixes, though these were widely reported and definitely needed to be taken care of. Here are the changes for today:

- Extra brewing equipment now purchasable from reputation 7
- Fixed bug: Exiting modifier menu doesn't return crafting items
- New items added to player inventory will now stack
- Fixed bug: Orders arriving instantly
- Fixed bug: Staff sometimes not arriving
- Added the door to the cellar which is coming soon!
- Can fill the reputation bar at max reputation

Keep those bug reports coming in, they've been a tremendous help to the team as we work to prepare for the first big content update in September!

The Roadmap is Here!

Greetings, Tavern Keeps!

Today we’ve got a couple of fun things to share with you, including a sneak peak at one of our upcoming features, and our roadmap!

The cellar feature was a community request, and we loved the idea. We can’t wait to see what everyone thinks when it rolls out in our first content update in September. You will be able to age your spirits in your cellar, which will make them more desirable to your customers. Barrels will be able to be either bought or crafted, allowing you to add more aged beers and wines to your tavern’s stock.

Now, without further ado, we would like to introduce our roadmap for the next 3 months! We have opted to go with publishing a new roadmap each quarter, to ensure that it’s as accurate as possible, and that we can adapt to changes as they’re needed.

The features listed are what is currently planned, but of course, are subject to change if we run into any delays or issues with getting them implemented into the game. Should any changes be needed, we’ll be sure to keep the community posted, and let you know ahead of time. We will also be releasing minor bug fixes in between these major updates as needed, and notes will be posted when those are released.

As always, we encourage everyone to stop by on Discord and say hi. We look forward to hearing everyone’s feedback and working with the community to shape the game’s future!
