v1.62d Patch Notes

Hi folks,

We have released several hotfixes for v1.62 throughout the day - the full list of changes is below.

Unless any urgent bugs are discovered, this is likely the final update for v1.62. The next patch is expected to arrive on Friday or Saturday and will feature new content and balance changes. We hope you're looking forward to it!

  • Fixed a crash related to the activation of multiple Closed Signs at once
  • Fixed a crash related to Thresher and Soft Clay
  • Fixed an issue related to Doughnut and Fake Candy donation
  • Fixed Elven Whistle bypassing status duration modifiers like Melted Clock
  • Fixed a crash related to gaining pathfinding in a special stage
  • Fixed an issue with Spookers spawning in Classic Mode
  • Fixed an issue with certain Sigils activating in Classic Mode
  • Fixed a crash related to "Quell" sigil activating outside of a stage
  • Fixed 0-indexed Monk Password
  • Speculative fix for rare crash related to bubble animations

Another small stability patch today - version number is unchanged. Thank you for all your continued feedback!

  • Implemented a system that will allow us to diagnose and repair corrupted save files much more easily


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

  • Fixed a crash related to activating Spookers outside of regular stages
  • Fixed an issue where having multiple Gnarled Branches would cause the loss of unrelated items
  • Fixed a crash related to key Nomad
  • Fixed missing Shadowbind string
  • Fixed Mac build

  • The Fraudulent mod has been renamed to Evolving
  • Minor adjustments to Celestial, Pagan, and Disturbing mod sprites

  • Elemental Fuel will now prioritize the spread of your most prevalent auras
  • Eternal Jelly will always generate items worth at least 3 coins

  • Fixed Guardian II bypassing lives lost through losing max life
  • Active armor is now written to the disk using the item name, preventing issues between updates
  • Guaranteed objects can no longer spawn in the (spoiler) post-Q5 stage
  • Fixed Evolving mod not being marked as seen when encountered
  • Fixed Halloween mythic emblem having a much lower droprate than intended
  • Fixed Book of Maths breaking string shortcodes
  • Added Trump Card to Deck of Cards
  • Rite of Passage costs exceeding 999 will be abbreviated
  • Fixed an issue related to the "Shine" sigil attempting to reveal monsters before any have spawned
  • Fixed an issue related to Fireplace that could lead to multiple effect stacks
  • Fixed pathfinding Mystic Statue always granting 15% pathfinding instead of a value based on stage power
  • Fixed stages losing Halloween backgrounds when reloaded
  • Fixed casing on Treasure Chest unlock message
  • Fixed an infinite loop related to Mirror and Blueberry
  • Fixed a crash related to Dreamcatcher and special chests
  • Added workaround for Dreamcatcher not capturing a guaranteed chest that was revealed on the first move
  • Speculative fix for rare crash related to the freezeframe effect
  • Speculative fix for crash related to locked special chest graphic
  • Speculative fix for multiple Thought Bubbles not stacking properly
