We Stay Behind hits Kickstarter with brand-new Demo

Hey Everyone,

We just launched our first crowdfunding campaign: We Stay Behind is coming to Kickstarter today. The campaign aims to meet a goal of 25,000 € to fuel that final development phase - to make We Stay Behind the most enjoyable experience possible.

We've been able to finance the development of We Stay Behind so far through public funding and the success of our first game, Unforeseen Incidents. Our publisher helps us with QA, localization, and voice recordings. We're grateful for this support and the opportunity to bring this game to life.
But we still have much more we want to achieve, and we believe involving you as a community will help us improve the game. The Kickstarter will help us add the features that will make Laburnum Creek an even more appealing place to visit. "We Stay Behind" will be packed with intrigues.


[h2]New demo, new locations, new content[/h2]

Along with the campaign, we released a brand-new demo of the game. For the first time, the demo allows you to move freely in Laburnum Creek and explore the beauty of the national park on the loose.



Imagine a comet was on a collision course with your town. What would you do? Most would pack up and move out. The folks in Laburnum Creek want to stay put. What could cause such a mass delusion? A cult? Mistrust of the government? Maybe it's just so damn lovely that dying really is preferable to leaving? Investigative journalist Laura Tanner wants to find out in this interactive mystery short story about repressed trauma and buried secrets.
