[h3]An update for the early access version of Black Skylands has been released[/h3]

The list of changes:

[h3] - BUG FIXES - [/h3]
- Partially fixed a rare bug where players would lose their saves

Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to find a solution to the problem of lost saves which the players are experiencing. However, we found a way to fix this for those who might face this problem again.

If you happen to lose your save after the patch, please follow this instruction:

From now on, up to three backups of your save files will be saved in the following folder: %USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/HungryCouch/BlackSkylands/Saves/Profile{N}/backup

After the update of the game, when you save the game for the first time, you can find the Readme file with the instructions in that folder. Follow it to solve the problem.

Please note that this is a test mode that may contain bugs or errors. It is only available in English. We've added it to the game as a way for you to have fun with your friends. If people enjoy the mode, we'll put more time into it.

This is a test PvP mode that runs over your local area network. You enter a parallel version of the Black Skylands universe where two mighty warriors of Aspya, Eva and Walter, face off against one another.

Who is Walter, you ask? Get ready for some backstory...

Walter was initially created to be the main character in Black Skylands, but after many long discussions, we decided to replace Walter with Eva. Now, as you've guessed, they get to fight each other, controlled by you!

We hope you like this small add-on to the main game. Battle your friends, dodge, defeat, and most importantly - have fun!



[h3]🔷 How to launch the mode[/h3]

It's very simple. After you update and launch the game, you have a choice of two modes: regular or Black Skylands Versus. Choose the second one.



[h3]🔷 How to play with friends[/h3]

This mode only supports local two-person multiplayer, so your friend will have to take a break from their important (or not-so-important) business to fight with you literally side by side.

You need two controllers to start the game. The game recognizes them automatically.

If you have problems connecting your PS4 controller or other console controllers (excluding Xbox), download the free program DS4Windows from the official site to help the controllers work properly in Versus mode.

[h3]We are pleased to tell you good news! Tomorrow we are releasing an additional test mode for Black Skylands — Black Skylands Versus.[/h3]

[h2]🔹 What is Black Skylands Versus:[/h2]

This is an additional test PVP mode that works over a local network.

You will find yourself in a parallel universe of Black Skylands, where the best Aspian warriors fight for the right to be the best. All you need to do is connect two gamepads to your computer, call a friend (or foe) and fight!

[h2]🔹 Features:[/h2]

• To prove your superiority, you or your opponent will have to win five times in three rounds.
  
• After each round, weapons are randomly generated. In battle, you will have a choice of one to three types of weapons.
  
• Battles will take place in two locations (just don't tell your friends that you can blow up barrels, pick up ammo and first aid kits if you know what we mean 😉)

[h3]We have important news about the upcoming update to raids.[/h3]

In the updated development plan, we said that the next update would be released in May. However, in the course of our work, we took another look at some aspects of raids and made the decision to move the update to June.

Raids will become an important part of Black Skylands, making late-game and post-completion gameplay more exciting. Your impressions of the update are the most important thing for us, and in order to insure they are positive impressions, we need more time to devote attention to all the details and aspects of development.

We will try our hardest to release the update as soon as possible. Thank you for staying with us, supporting the game's development, and sending us feedback! We hope to bring you new content soon!

For now, we'd like to show you an example of a raid level from the upcoming update.
