Here's how to watch tonight's Game Awards 2020 show

Tonight marks one of the most important events in the annual videogame industry calendar: the 2020 Game Awards. Hosted by industry vet Geoff Keighley, the show is essentially like the Oscars of gaming, with a whole raft of categories recognising and celebrating excellence across the world of games. If you're keen to tune in as the action unfolds, you've come to the right place.

As highlighted by Keighley on Twitter, the 2020 edition of The Game Awards will be shown across a whole bunch of different platforms, which you can tune into for free. Plus, there are 45 additional global platforms listed on the event's site here.

The main show kicks off on December 10 at 16:00 PT / 19:00 ET / December 11 at 00:00 GMT, though there's a pre-show you can check out, too. This kicks off half an hour before the main event on the same platforms mentioned above.

Небольшая студия Supergiant Games сделала себе имя благодаря потрясающему дебютному проекту Bastion, вышедшему в уже далеком 2011 году. Взяв за основу, казалось бы, весьма простую схему изометрической action-RPG с элементами жанра Rogue-like, разработчики смогли прыгнуть выше головы, создав выдающийся проект, где воедино связывались затягивающий геймплей, самобытные приёмы повествования и приятная, ненавязчивая атмосфера. В этом году студия порадовала игроков совершенно новым IP в уже знакомом стиле. Hades, он же Аид в русском переводе, вобрал в себя все качества, за которые мы любим игры Supergiant Games.

Get free demos and the best games of 2020 cheap in Steam's Game Awards sale

The Game Awards 2020 is nearly here, and with it a celebration of both the year's best games and promising titles for the future. Steam has once again partnered with Geoff Keighley's award show to present notable discounts on some of the year's biggest games, and provide free demos for a host of upcoming indie titles.

Many of The Game Awards 2020 nominees are on sale, including game of the year selections like Hades (20% off) and Doom Eternal (67% off). If multiplayer games are your thing, you can get Fall Guys (20% off) or Among Us (20% off). More into strategy games? You can get Crusader Kings III (20% off) or Desperados III (40% off), too.

The full sale page also highlights winners from previous years - everything from Disco Elysium to The Witcher 3. If you want some straight-up free stuff, you can also enjoy a selection of demos for indie games ranging from Little Nightmares II to Echo Generation. These demos will only be available for a limited time, so if you want to play them, you'll need to hurry.
