But what about the Shady Deals then? 🤔
That’s a hell of a good question, and since we want to be fully transparent with you, we’re here to explain the whole situation, cause there are many of you who are eagerly waiting for this DLC. Now, some time ago, we decided that we need to have more hands on board if we want to keep updating Gas Station Simulator with new content and updates while at the same time working on other titles that we have in our portfolio (you know which in particular I have in mind).

Having said that, we decided to cooperate with an external partner. Unfortunately, the deal didn’t go the way we expected, even despite the goodwill from our partner. It took us some time to realize that this ain’t going into the direction that we’ve always wanted to, and we decided to terminate the contract with this partner.

So what’s the situation for now? Well, Shady Deals DLC is in our hands again, but first, we decided that we’ll focus our efforts on the just-revealed RV Camp DLC, as this has been in production for a couple of months already and will be released this year.

Now, I’m fully aware that there will be many of you who will simply be disappointed, and to be honest, I totally get it. It was a really difficult decision for us, and we want to go through this time together with you. Don’t hesitate to share your thoughts with us, we do really appreciate and hope for your understanding of this situation and we do what we can to entertain you Gas Jockeys with all the content being added to the game.

Let’s Talk About the Controller Support for Gas Station Simulator 🎮

Hey, Gas Jockeys! ⛽

Welcome to another development update, where we share what we’ve been cooking up for our beloved Gas Station Simulator. Last time, we gave you a sneak peek at dynamic fuel prices — and it looks like many of you are eagerly waiting to get your hands on that feature. If you missed that announcement, feel free to check it out here.

Today, I’m thrilled to finally share some insights into a feature that has been requested since day one: Controller Support for Gas Station Simulator! So, grab your favourite drink, some snacks, and let’s roll! 🔥
Controller Support Update 🎮
I’m gonna say (or rather write) this loud and clear: after countless requests from the community, we’ve finally rolled up our sleeves and implemented full controller support. However, there are a few things you need to know.
Full Xbox Controller Support ✅
We’ve added full support for Xbox controllers. Whether you're using an Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S controller, Gas Station Simulator now fully supports both.
Steam Input Support 🎮
We’ve also integrated Steam Input, which means if you're using a PlayStation controller, the game will automatically detect it and adjust the button bindings accordingly. No manual setup required — unless you want to customize your controls, of course!
What About Other Controllers? ⚠️
While Steam Input brings great flexibility, third-party or non-standard controllers may not be fully supported. You might encounter issues with responsiveness or button mapping. For the smoothest experience, we recommend sticking to Xbox controllers for now.
We’ll Be Live Streaming the Fuelnomenal Update!👀
Mark your calendars! On May 29th at 6 PM CEST, we’re going live to celebrate:

 • The launch of the Fuelnomenal Update

Another PC Update is Just Around the Corner

Hey Gas Jockeys!

We’re excited to share the first glimpse of our upcoming update: custom fuel pricing paired with the brand-new Traffic Meter. These two systems work in tandem to give you deeper control over customer flow and profitability than ever before.
Custom Fuel Pricing
A new, intuitive slider lets you set pump rates anywhere within a defined bracket (for example, $1.50–$2.00). As you tweak the price:
 • Lower Rates draw in more budget-driven drivers, boosting traffic and overall sales volume.
 • Higher Rates slim your customer base but increase profit per liter sold.

This direct trade-off is designed to inject meaningful strategy into each pricing decision. Early playtests suggest that small adjustments—just $0.05 up or down—can shift your daily revenue by noticeable margins. Your goal? Find that sweet spot where volume and margin intersect for maximum daily haul.
Traffic Meter
Located in the upper left corner of the HUD, the Traffic Meter displays real-time road activity on a scale from VERY LOW to EXTREMELY HIGH. It aggregates multiple gameplay factors like time, popularity, fuel price, decorations, landmarks or upcoming events, so you can instantly see how attractive your station is to passing drivers:

 • Responsive Feedback: Watch the meter climb during peak hours, after adding new decorations or landmarks, or when you roll out limited-time discounts.
 • Strategic Timing: Spot impending dips in traffic and preemptively launch flash sales—or capitalize on surges by raising prices slightly for extra profit.
 • At-a-Glance Clarity: Color-coded segments help you read conditions instantly: blue for LOW, green for NORMAL, yellow for HIGH, and red for EXTREMELY HIGH.
Why This Matters
By linking pricing and traffic, we’ve added layers of tactical depth and replayability:

 • Revenue Optimization: Track how every pump-price tweak affects both volume and per-sale profit, all within one unified interface.
 • Dynamic Variety: Time-of-day bonuses, special in-game events, and your own pricing choices now interact in rich, evolving ways—no two days play out the same.
 • Player Agency: Whether you aim for mass-market dominance with rock-bottom rates or carve out a high-end niche, these tools empower you to define and refine your unique strategy.
Looking Ahead
This is only the beginning. We’ll be rolling out additional features and surprises in future devlogs—so stay tuned for more insights into how we’re expanding gameplay depth and player choice.

Thank you for being part of our community. We can’t wait to see how you leverage custom pricing and the Traffic Meter to keep the cars—and profits—rolling in!

New Pretty Characters Update is finally available!

Hey, Gas Jockeys!

Big news straight from the desert: the New Pretty Characters Update is officially LIVE! 🎉
Yep, it's finally time to say goodbye to some of those, uh... “charmingly outdated” faces passing through your gas station and welcome a fresh new crowd with cleaner models, updated outfits, and more variety than ever before!

As we mentioned earlier, this update focuses solely on visuals – the behavior of your customers remains unchanged (yes, they will still honk if you leave them waiting too long). But we promise, they’ll look way better doing it now.
