Lock 'n Load Tactical Digital: Core Game News

29 Jan 21 Early Access Build

- fixed LOS heading downhill implementation of rule 10.3.1 to not apply to Level-0 hexes (rule only applies to actual Hill hexes)
- changed LOS that goes perfectly along a hex edge between two different levels of hill to use the lower hill level (this better matches what most of the art shows since the hills never quite reach the edge of the hex).
- fixed Brush hexes in Defiance scenarios sometimes not counting as Degrading

28 Jan 21 Early Access Build

- fixed single-use items in Melee that are not marked to be used from being removed at the end of the Melee
- removed the requirement for Spotting Round/FFE artillery targeting to be in visual range at night (was a rules misunderstanding; they just have to be in non-Blocked LOS)
- fixed opfire from being prompted vs. a buttoned armored vehicle when the opfire unit has weapons that can reach the vehicle that cannot affect it, and weapons that can affect the vehicle but cannot reach it

27 Jan 21 Early Access Build

- fixed unit name in the casualties in the log being the 'post-casualties' name
- another fix for squads not properly reducing to half squads
- End Turn box is now taller to allow a stack of 4 buttons (needed for Pacific)
- Poker Trick: added a couple of Belgian setups

Live Stream Lock 'n Load Tactical During Steam's Digital Tabletop Fest.

We're excited to announce our Lock 'n Load Tactical being part of Steam's first Digital Tabletop Fest, to be hosted on Steam in partnership with indie studio Auroch Digital this fall. The multi-day event presents an opportunity to celebrate tabletop games with fans excited to share their love of all things card and board as they intersect with video games.

The Fest will host discussions about tabletop games which began in the physical realm before going digital, others which got their start digitally before becoming physical, and those which simply draw inspiration or aesthetics from the tabletop genre.

We will be talking all things Lock 'n Load Tactical and where the series is heading October 24, 2:00 PM MST.
