KOTOVOD is a company built on democratic principles. Which is exactly why we have established one day (or less) per week, when our engineers' opinions matter!

Not that the administration necessarily listens to these opinions*, but it does cherish them!

This week we ask you to share your thoughts on a very sensitive decision, namely: the type of yarn that will be used in our Yarn Ball Maker machines.

All of our yarn is weaved out of highest quality cotton (slightly genetically modified with sheep genes), but it is the design and texture, that matter! This is what our precious cats will be playing with, so you can imagine what is at stake here! So choose wisely.

It is well known that the Union's engineers designed KOTOVOD machinery with perfection. When there is cats of the world happiness at stake, every mechanism must work like clockwork, period. However, when you're reaching for the stars, there's always room for improvement.

Take transporter splitters, for example! Despite working perfectly fine, previously they have only been capable of splitting stuff on conveyor lines horizontally. But now, thanks to the work of brilliant minds of KOTOVOD's scientific department, all engineers get splitters that can be rotated to split lines vertically as well!

Not only they're bloody effective, they look mesmerising, too:


In addition to that, these new splitter models are capable of streamlining your conveyors into 2, 3 or even 4 lines! The efficiency of production is expected to skyrocket! Glory to science! Glory to KOTOVOD!

• 3 new splitters models: they rotate in both directions, they occupy less space and can stream your lines into 2, 3 or 4 streams
  
• Buildings now automatically accept the amount of resources for production of 3 units of goods. More resources can be loaded manually
  
• Goods and resources now visually fade out upon entering a building

Isn't Mars just beautiful? It certainly is now!

After the great Cat-Human Revolution the planet was terraformed and has become capable of sustaining life. But its view was far from being inspiring, with only a few occasional plants growing here and there. Certainly not a place to take your cat to make a selfie (let alone chewing on some leaves!).

Well, it all changes now, thanks to collaborative work of KOTOVOD scientists and Totally Not Mutant Seeds Company (a division of I.L.L.U.M.I.N.A.T.I. Inc.)! The newly planted trees and bushes are not only beautiful, but they grow and reproduce all by themselves, without additional watering or fertilizers!

Thanks to their work, Mars will flourish, and so will KOTOVOD!

As you might have noticed, we've updated design of our Cat Stores in the most recent update. But KOTOVOD is all about democracy and freedom of expressing opinions! The final decision most likely will be made bt Dr. Katz, but we do want to hear from you!

At KOTOVOD Learning Factory, we always think about the future: we work today to make sure tomorrow is brighter! Which is exactly why we decided to spend some extra time on polishing this week's Alpha update. It is to be released tomorrow.

It was especially vital, as more and more cats are flowing to the Factory's Stores, looking to buy goods of their dreams. The rumor is that the Interstellar Lazy Labor Union for Mars Integration and Never-ending Aspiration for Technological Innovations (the I.L.L.U.M.I.N.A.T.I.) is showing interest in partnering with KOTOVOD and is planning to send their foremen cats to see whether our Factory's powers are sufficient to satisfy their demand for construction materials.

Numerous initiatives for improving production efficiency were suggested by Dr. Katz for immediate implementation. If you are a KOTOVOD engineer, you automatically agree to prolonged work shifts by reading this article, with no extra compensation provided. Glory to science! Glory to KOTOVOD!

[h2]Version 0.7.2 To Be Released (Tomorrow)[/h2]

• Cluster Core has rusted and can be dismantled for resources. It is now longer required for processing data
  
• Feature extractor is called Data Storage from now on. It doesn't process raw data anymore, but it has a very fancy bar that shows the current amount of data stored in it
  
• Buildings consuming data (Labs and Linear Regression) now process it into data features by themselves
  
• Additionally, Linear Regression now automatically collects first batch of data from connected storages, if it's available
  
• You can now connect multiple Stores, Data Storages, Labs and Linear Regressions into groups.
  
• You can see which objects make up current batch of data in a Linear Regression by clicking on it
  
• New type of cats to visit your Stores: foreman cats. They will be looking for building materials, so make sure those are in the stock
  
• Transporter lines now visibly connect to building outputs
  
• Updated game map
  
• Updated Store design
  
• Bug fixes
  
• Interface improvements
