Lost Viking - Kingdom of Women News

Early Middle Ages, 9th century, Eastern Europe. The Viking boats are drifting inland, looking for a convenient place for settlement. One of the greatest and the smartest warrior who was the leader of the expedition was Ragnald. Together with his wife as well as travel companions, they were looking for a safe land, rich in water, vegetation, and animals.

He was also accompanied by his faithful friend, Raga the wolf. It was supposed to be a peaceful voyage, but the expedition fell into an ambush set by women from the Kingdom of Women. Ruthless warriors captured women and killed all men. Almost everyone...



With the help of Raga, the wounded Ragnald survived, and with little strength left the wolfhound pulled him to the other side of the river. Just before he fainted, he noticed his beloved Tove among the captives. When he awoke, his faithful wolf was laying next to him, and apart from the voices of nature, there was no sign of the attackers or the captured women.

[h3]🐺 New Features and Optimization in the Lost Viking Kingdom of Women 🐺[/h3]

Hi there! I'm excited to present to you the devlog from the last month of our project, Lost Viking Kingdom of Women. During this time, we worked hard to improve the game and accomplished many interesting things.

We started with the spring cleaning of the project. During this time, we focused on optimizing the game, which allowed us to improve its performance. This, in turn, resulted in an increase in FPS, which is a great effect on our work. But that's not all, because we also added new colliders so that players won't fall off the board anymore.

But that's not all! We decided to end the boring walking and stone-collecting, so we created new, interesting puzzle mechanics. Now the game is much more diverse and interesting.
In the Lost Viking Kingdom of Women, we also introduced many new features, and one of them is the ability to interact with a wolf. Now players can control it and establish a positive relationship with it, which is very important in our game. The wolf accompanies the player on their adventures and helps them solve puzzles and perform tasks. This is another interesting option that brings a lot of positive emotions to the gameplay.

Lastly, I have another surprise for you - in the Lost Viking Kingdom of Women, we introduce hunting rabbits! We will have to quickly follow its scent to find it. This challenge will surely provide a lot of excitement and fun.

The last DevLog was on September 17th - that's a lot of time and we know it. We needed a moment to refresh our view of the game but we are back to work on this project and now you will receive information regularly. But let's get to the specifics.



Do you remember the previous assumptions of the game mechanics? Exactly… you wanted more, so you got. For this purpose, our Viking received the ability to control the wolf!



We will no longer stand by and watch, and we will enter the wolf's skin ourselves. Further, we will have to explore and collect materials and craft items. Our companion will now not only travel with us but will become a playable character. As a wolf, you will be able to take part in exciting hunts and enter dangerous places. There will also be no shortage of logic challenges for our Viking. And you will see all this soon in the new refreshed demo.



We can't even imagine not being able to pet a wolf
