Morels: The Hunt News

We just released a minor update with a couple of fixes.

Fixed an issue with the camera detection. The distance for animal detection was getting messed up after the first time you used it or zoomed in and out.

Fixed an issue with the Horse to let you get back on it when you are right next to it after dismounting.

We would also like to let everyone know that we are working on a Big Anniversary Update set to be released in October. We will post more information about it soon. We will be looking for testers to help us test the update. We will create a discord group for the testing. Just a few of the highlights regarding this update will be a new map, new animals, swimming, photographing fish, stackable inventory, updated lighting and environments, quick photo option, different colored mushroom markers, and more!

The actual morels season may be over for most of us, but that doesn't mean the fun has to stop! We are discounting Morels: The Hunt 33% for the Steam Summer Sale!

• We have completely reworked the way you detect animals with the photo/camera system. The new detection system should be more accurate and finally fix the wrong animal/dead animal bug.
  
  
  
  
• Fixed mouse and gamepad movements to be smoother. This will be especially noticeable on lower end machines.
  
  
• Optimized Texas Ranch.
  
  
• Optimized other maps in various minor ways.
  
  
• Fixed area in Georgia where you could previously get into an unplayble area.
  
  
• Fixed area in Texas that where could get into an unplayble area.
  
  
• Increased chances for chanterelle mushrooms in a couple maps. Players were having a really hard time getting the weekly task for it.
  
  
• We added more tarantulas and scorpions in Texas. We also added a possibility to see them in the Rocky Mountains and Redwood Forest maps.
  
  
• Fixed invert Y when on the ATV.
  
  
• Fixed a few other minor bugs.
