Morels: The Hunt 0.3.1 patch notes

Good evening everyone,
We are only one week away from release! Everyone at the studio would like to extend our immense gratitude for all of the hard work during Beta testing. We've come a long way the past month and it wouldn't have been possible without all of you. With that being said, here are today's patch notes;

-Based on your feedback points were too easy to get. We lowered the point value of morels and photographed animals. We also raised some of the prices in the shop and added a camping tent you can save up for.

-Added a Camping Tent to the shop. You can use it to choose to camp and start the next day at your current location or to go to the cabin menu to shop and hunt new locations.

-Updated some of the Animal AI's.

-Added a mouse sensitivity setting under gameplay in settings.

-Prices for items in the shop are now visible at all times.

-Fixed Volumetric Fog sometimes not working after day 1.

-Fixed misplaced rocks and trees in Northern Lakes.

-Fixed misplaced rocks in and fence collisions in Texas Ranch.

-Fixed some other small bugs.

Morels: The Hunt 0.2.1

Patch Notes:

You can now collect pheasant back mushrooms that grow on trees.

Your total counts for all edible mushrooms you have collected are now shown in the game menu. You can also view them when you are at the menu to choose shopping or hunting by clicking on the arrow to the right of the screen. This will take you to your cabin wall screen.

Fixed Spanish language not working correctly.

Fixed some misplaced trees and rocks in the Rocky Mountain map.

Updated Georgia Woods Rocks and Cliffs (new models and textures).
Added FOV and Gamma Slider to Settings.
Added setting under gameplay to Hide/UnHide green circle guide.
Crouching now moves the camera down to crouching view instead of cutting to black and then being in that view.

Fixed the issue of no points, "where you are" icon all over the region map problem.
Fixed menu screens cutting off in 1920 x 1200.
Fixed camera issues. Sometimes when you would crouch, look down on your feet, or pull out camera character would be in view.
Fixed character collision, stopping the camera from looking into objects.
Fixed the issue of tapping C twice and camera not opening and closing correctly.
Fixed the issue of being able to cross the river in Cabin in the Woods in some areas without holding your breath.
Fixed it being dark with low or medium post process settings.
Fixed minimap to rotate correctly when using the ATV.
Fixed rain lagging behind ATV.
Fixed Texas Ranch map from being too dark on cloudy or rainy days.
Removed T to toggle from First Person pickup view to Third Person view. You can still change it in settings under gameplay.
Fixed raining in caves.
Stopped poisonous mushrooms from blurring the screen.
Using water bottles and energy bars no long cut to third person view unless you have third person pickup view selected

We hope to hear some feedback on the fixes and updates and that you're all enjoying the Beta. We appreciate all of you so very much!

Beta Sub-Forum

Thanks so much to all our beta testers for your continued efforts. We are listening and working hard regarding all of your suggestions and feedback. We've noticed that due to the nature of how Community Hubs list current news/posts that some of you were unfortunately posting errors that we had fixed in a recent update. Please rest assured that we will continue to listen and work hard. We want to make sure the update list is at the top of our news page and so have moved to bug submission forum to a "semi-private" format for just our testers to use. We will make sure to keep everyone up to speed on all our changes, updates, and bug fixes.

Thanks again everyone, and good luck out there!

New Animations

You spoke and we listened. Pick up animations now remain first person by default.

We would love to get everyone's feedback on the new "pick up" first person animations!
