Hi Farmers,

Another day, another batch of bugs crushed. Here are the fixes we made last week.

Bugfix:
  • Fixed levels wrongly loaded for crowdfunding cutscenes.
  • Fixed Ben having two spring outfits in the relationship UI.
  • Fixed the issue where Jim's Wife Photo could not be turned in after exiting/loading the game.
  • Fixed the incorrect sacred tree level south of the farm at the start of the game.
  • Fixed the issue where Scott's heart level 10 could not be triggered.
  • Fixed the incorrect date for Lily's birthday.
  • Fixed the fire giant's lobby cutscene not being triggered.
  • Fixed Charles' Intro to trigger the Spring intro dialogue first when applicable.
  • Fixed the inability of the spouse to sleep in the player's bed if there's furniture beside it.
  • Fixed crash when destroying a fruit tree using explosives.
  • Fixed crash during the Harvest Festival when opening the Beluga Bay display.
  • Attempted to fix the match pattern minigame post-game causing inventory loss.
  • Fixed item duplication when enchanting items.
  • Added missing monitors in Lily's spouse room.
  • Fixed various stair collision issues.
  • Fixed crash when catching the magnolia green jumper and other spiders.
  • Fixed the wrong setup for the widow spider and hedgehog seahorse.
  • Unloaded beach volleyball field during beach clean-up.
  • Fixed wrong harvest prompt text for the Mythical Pet.
  • Fixed minor typo in the Starlet Display description for the Harvest Festival.
  • Fixed issue where the player keeps falling if upgrading the house and then sleeping in the merfolk barracks.
  • Fixed the player ride manta animation not playing in two-legged merfolk form.
  • Fixed dialogue bug post-marriage where the spouse still speaks their before-marriage dialogues.
  • Fixed various issues with mail texts.
  • Fixed some cases where NPC dialogues get repeated.

  • The museum is now sectioned off into separate areas, requiring loading per area, like entering a different room. This reduces memory usage for the game.
  • Optimization of crowdfunding cutscenes.
  • Removed the talk button in festivals when NPCs have nothing more to say.
  • Updated all text related to having a baby to "You just had a baby."
  • The controller input threshold, a.k.a. dead zone, is now 0.3, enhancing responsiveness.
  • Added Cow Suit and Duck Suit to the clothing store.

Balancing:
  • Updated cooking recipes for Apple Pie, Assorted Grilled Platter, Summer Burger, and Rainbow Sandwich.

Localizations:
  • Implemented various translation improvements.

Thanks to everyone for reporting bugs to our team. We'll keep working on them.

Like a Dragon Gaiden and Wild Hearts lead Xbox Game Pass for November 2023

Xbox has announced the first batch of Game Pass games for November, and as usual, there's plenty on offer for everyone.

But before we even hit November, Game Pass is adding in three new titles today. First up is Headbangers: Rhythm Royale, a rhythm game battle royale all about pigeons, Jusant, a climbing adventure that plays wonderfully, and Wartales, an open world RPG "in which you lead a group of mercenaries in their search for wealth across a massive mediaeval universe," all of which is coming to console, cloud, and PC. November itself is quite a stacked month too! From pretty much right off the bat on November 2 comes Thirsty Suitors, a "stylish, story-driven adventure that unfolds through turn-based battles, skateboarding, and cooking," on cloud, console, and PC.

Then, a few days later on November 6, Football Manager 2024 (both the console and PC versions) will join the subscription service, letting you live out all of your football managerial dreams once again. After that, there's Dungeons 4 on November 9, which lets you "build a cozy and comfortable Dungeon to suit your creatures’ needs and rule over them, then send them out into the Overworld to kindly remind the good people living there that the Absolute Evil rules over their lands."
