24th December Winter Update!



First of I hope you, your friends, and your family have a wonderful evening with great food and lovely memories!
From all of us at **Get Up Games** we wish you amazing holidays and soon to be a great new year.
That being said, time for an update! - 3.0.3.7

***New Features:***
* Conquest game mode! a 10v10 game mode similar to domination
* Add The Sloop to the Battle Royale game mode. A 2 player vessel for nimble, but challenging combat!
* Add Crew Lock option for parties, this will allow you to prevent any random players from joining your team. (Not applied in Conquest)
* Added more maps for the Gun Game game mode
* Add Gun Game configurator, allows you to modify the order and types of weapons for Gun Game

***Bugs:***
* Fix being able to heal while being dazed (parried)
* Fix the amount of Treasure chests spawning in Battle Royale not scaling to the amount of players
* Fix ship names and emblems not loading in
* Fix not all resources being given in Gun Game
* Fix random light direction for the Noon time of day not being applied

* Reduce Freeze for Epic players in pregame lobby
* Improvements to the Main Menu Friends List, should update friends more accurately
* Fix small issue with random streamer names
* Increase the resolution and size of the team member dot
* Fix issues with the spawn and ship selection
* Fix issue where jumping during spawn select would wobble the camera
* Fix issue with the timer in custom games would auto resume after pausing
* Attempt to fix the cursor being gone in main menu. If you're still experiencing this turn off OverWolf

* Add Copy Party Invite Code button to share with non friends

After successfully launching the full game and sailin' through the turbulent waters of bug fixing post-launch, we've finally found a moment to take a breath and gather our thoughts. This journey's been a real whirlwind, and we wanted to extend our deepest gratitude to all you pirates who have supported us for many years by reporting those pesky bugs. Ye be the true MVPs (= Most Valuable Pirates).

First of all, we know that the full release of Blazing Sails has been a long time coming. As you guys know, we're a small crew. Throughout the last couple of years, we've faced mighty headwinds as we sailed through development, passing through waves of unexpected events, both in our professional and personal lives. So we appreciate everyone who stayed the course, hoping that we didn't abandon the development of this game. We never intended to and we didn't! And to the ones who had lost faith and cursed at us many times - like SO many, you wouldn’t believe it, we hope that this message reaches you and that you give our game another try!

We're over the moon that we've weathered the storm. Our dedication to fine-tuning this game is stronger than ever, and we're committed to ensure it becomes the gem we’ve always wanted it to be. To our fantastic community, you're the wind in our sails, and we couldn't have come this far without your hearty support! And fear not! We’ve got many more exciting updates on the horizon - some that you might recognize, and some that are brand new. Stay tuned, mateys!

**New Features**:
- Return of spawn selection
- New "vote for ship type"
- New flag added
- Hid the queue number when streamer mode is active
- Hid matchmaking queue when not party host and streamer mode is active

**Bugs**:
- Fixed soft lock when completion occurred for Shooting Range challenge
- Joining Gun Game while match in progress now works appropriately
- Fixed Gun Game "Battle Starting" screen
- Fixed issue with streamer mode names on the winning trophies not displaying appropriately
- Skeleton voices re-added as selections
- Fixed pre-game lobby sometimes not starting a match when timer ended
- Fixed bullet collision on rear window of Caravel
- Improved cannon collisions
- Fixed hammer incidentally being taken out when boarding a ship via ladders

- Capstan now has a 1 second delay after the anchor drops before it can be progressed
- Removed ability to repair enemy ship damages
- Added ship spawn points around Maze

Blazing Sails Full release!

Ahoy buccaneers! Today we are putting our ship that is Blazing Sails to sea. We are leaving the safe harbor of early access and are setting sail for new horizons!

Rise of the Caravel


What better way to celebrate a milestone such as this than with a new ship: The Caravel! A big bulky ship with a high forecastle and aftcastle. Great for throwing yourselves onto an enemy ship's deck. Airborne pirate assaults await ye. They will never see you coming!



The Caravel sports one main cannon on each side and a hidden rear cannon. Sometimes you just need to show your dominance through ahem showing them your butt.

Aside from a butt cannon there are multiple swivels and 3 masts. It takes a bit more effort to man this hulk, but when doing so efficiently you can terrorize the seas with a literal floating fortress.

Introducing the Limbs of Lore


We've also dropped a brand new DLC filled with swagelicious pirate prosthetics. Time to fashion up those missing limbs!

Bug fixes


And as per usual we have also worked on fixing more of those pesky bugs such as the bottle bug, crow's nest weapon switch issues, XP loading and more!

Sailing onward...


But of course, we'll keep sailing and exploring new seas. We have more stuff and bug fixes planned for the coming weeks and months as well as the return of some beloved game modes and features such as conquest and the curse. We'll be sharing a new roadmap that will shed more light on the future of Blazing Sails soon! So stay tuned for that.
