We are thrilled to announce that Zoria: Age of Shattering, has been nominated for an award in the Indie Games section at DreamHack Beyond Gaming Awards!



For those who might not know, DreamHack Beyond is a one-of-a-kind hybrid festival that merges the immersive world of gaming with a physical event. Taking place both on-site and virtually, this event is a fantastic opportunity for gamers and developers alike.

We are proud to be a part of DreamHack Beyond's Steam event, which runs from December 15th to 21st. During this time, you can play many games, including our own Zoria: Age of Shattering.

The winners will be announced on December 14th. We are holding our breaths with anticipation!

We're excited to share with you what's changed within this month in Zoria: Age of Shattering. We've implemented some elements you haven't seen before, as well as further improved features already in the game. Let's jump into it! 

[h2]⚔️ Speed Button During Encounter[/h2]
Say goodbye to long, drawn-out battles. With our new speed button, you can now control the pace of your encounters. This feature adds a new level of strategy and enjoyment to our turn-based combat system. Plus, we've added a handy marker on the turn queue, so you'll always know when the turn ends.


[h2]⚔️ Combat Review[/h2]
Knowledge is power, and our new combat review feature gives you plenty of it. After each battle, you'll receive a summary, complete with EXP gained and any additional bonuses. And if you take on a new enemy, your journal will get updated with a new entry, which will be shown on-screen.


[h2]⚔️ Partial Voice Over[/h2]
We implemented a partial voice over that really breathes life into our characters. Now, characters will say the beginning of their dialogue lines, which adds a new layer of depth and personality. Hearing the voices of characters complements the storytelling aspect of Zoria, and makes them more real and dynamic. Soon, we'll show you what the voice overs actually sound like, so stay tuned!


[h2]⚔️ Map Improvements[/h2]
Navigation just got a whole lot easier. We added checkpoints to the map and made it more user-friendly, so you can focus on the adventure at hand.


[h2]⚔️ UI Improvements[/h2]
Finding and managing your equipment now should be a breeze. We touched up the equipment tab for better usability - new items will now be clearly marked, so you'll never miss a new addition to your inventory.


[h2]⚔️ Overall Quality Improvements[/h2]
We worked on the overall quality of graphics in Zoria. From on-screen fonts and effects to the look of characters in and outside of cutscenes - the edges are visibly sharper. We also improved the journal with quests, making it more readable and easier to use.

In Zoria: Age of Shattering, a classic tactical RPG, you can develop the character as you like. However, maintaining a balance and distributing stat points when leveling up according to the character's class will make the game more enjoyable.


If you'd like to play a warrior-type character in Zoria, it'd be best to invest your points in Strength (if you're planning to be in the first line or carry a shield) or Agility. Agility better suits more nimble heroes or those attacking from a distance).

Casters, on the other hand, will benefit the most from Agility and, of course, Intellect, which will influence their Mana pool and Crit Chance. High Intellect means your character can cast more spells, and they will hit your enemies harder!


Stamina will increase your character's health. It'll be extremely important, no matter what type of hero you'll be playing as, especially at the beginning of the game! Zoria can be challenging, so there's no point in making it harder, right?

First off, a huge thank you for your patience and ongoing support. We're super excited to let you know that our much-anticipated game, Zoria: Age of Shattering, is set to officially launch on March 7th, 2024.

Okay, so here's the situation. We're a team of three developers. We showed the demo to different gaming events, organized closed on-site playtests, listened to an external QA team and after gathering all this feedback we came to the conclusion that what we have isn't what we can hand over to you in the next month.

Zoria: Age of Shattering is an ambitious project, considering the scale of our team. We would say it's very ambitious, as we are reaching nearly 300k words in the game. An extensive story is great, but we also have a ready to-do list of things that require our work. We can certainly confirm that the game is playable and we have achieved content-lock. However, the content itself is only half the success. UX, your comfort of playing, and a great focus on eliminating as many bugs and blockers as possible is our priority at the moment. In short, we want to give you a game that we're proud of.

We believe that you understand the situation and that the additional weeks of waiting will be worth it. We have prepared 30+ hours of content for you, and the best is still waiting for the reveal!

Also, you have time to finish Baldur's Gate 3, there are no excuses in March! 😉

Since we gathered you here, we'll put all the cards out on the table and reveal the price as well.
