Patch 1.0.7 is out now! Auto-sorting inventory & boosting Unfair Difficulty

It's been 54 days since we launched Zoria: Age of Shattering. The game was good at launch, but with all your feedback, we feel that it's really become great. We've implemented quality of life features and fixed some minor issues. As you're reading this, we're already working on our next Patch - stay tuned for that!

So, let's jump into the update. What's changed?

βš”οΈ Added exit portals for some areas after finishing the quest line - Abandoned Tower, Dorgoin Manor, The Lonely Tower
βš”οΈ Fixed multiple typos and added various small text improvement
βš”οΈ Animus Corpus – added new tracking quest for certain chest piece rewards
βš”οΈ Blacksmith – removed adjustable fragment quantity and crafting chance. Crafting will only accept 1 fragment and has 100% chance of success
βš”οΈ Fixed potential β€œRing of Fire” bug where the player can evade the commander Malat fight and leave the intended area of combat, fight Malat outside of the area and get stuck because the Mage remains inside the designated combat area (β€œring of fire”)
βš”οΈ Daeg Marastir - Disabled catapult strikes after the catapults are destroyed
βš”οΈ Tutorial – added tutorial about Attack of Opportunity
βš”οΈ Character Stats tooltip overlay - fixed issue with showing default condition stats info when hovering weapon/resistances stats
βš”οΈ Unfair Difficulty – boosted some enemy stats (Stamina/Strength) and reduced a little Armor/Magic Armor and Resistances
βš”οΈ Improved item level generation for reward items and kill drops
βš”οΈ Inventory System – added auto sort functionality for the main inventory
βš”οΈ Resource respawn will now use gameplay time instead of exploration time

βš”οΈ added 4 new saving slots

[h3]🏹 Game Settings[/h3]
βš”οΈ added option to enable/disable β€œCamera Shake”
βš”οΈ added option to enable/disable Commander Vision toggle sound effect

[h3]🏹 Achievements Fixes[/h3]
βš”οΈ Fixed β€œKeeper of Knowledge” achievement. Removed tracking of unique lore pieces that are found on choice based game paths.
βš”οΈ Fixed achievement progress for β€œNo Stone Unturned”
βš”οΈ Fixed potential issue with getting achievement β€œMender’s Maiden Move”. Repairing all items instead of using repair one item would not trigger the achievement.
βš”οΈ Fixed issue with getting achievement β€œMaster of Versatility”. Combat traits effect would not be recorded properly.
βš”οΈ Added some missing Lore pieces and fixed Story VII quest event unlock

βš”οΈ We are delighted to let you know of the "Hoofs For Hire" service being introduced in select locations throughout Rithvale Area. This will allow the player to move quickly between these destinations;
βš”οΈ The "Hoofs For Hire" service is also being introduced in a couple of locations in Bilnaram Hills, making travelling easier;
βš”οΈ Bilnaram Hills – Recruiting Leareera Maxentia now works as intended;
βš”οΈ Sofja now properly exits the party after the meeting in Thallamar, but she can be added to the party at any Party Configuration post;
βš”οΈ Made the entrance to the Ancestors area in Thonargond Citadel more visible;
βš”οΈ Forest of Nurdundas – fixed issues with multiple floating tree trunks;
βš”οΈ Ancient Shadows – added quest task information about specific follower requirement;
βš”οΈ Fixed multiple story, lore and dialogue text issues and typos;
βš”οΈ Weapon Effect chance increased to 10/30% from 5/15% for One Handed/Two Handed items;

βš”οΈ Greatly improved Inventory Management and storage space:
πŸ‘‰ Added individual resources-based inventories for Consumables, Materials, Ingredients, and Crafting Items to no longer consume inventory space
πŸ‘‰ Only Weapons, Armors, Trinkets and Blueprints will require inventory slots
πŸ‘‰ All items can still be sold/traded as well as used everywhere in crafting/combat
πŸ‘‰ Potions are now sorted by effect and effect magnitude instead of level
πŸ‘‰ All resources affected by the inventory optimization (for ongoing game-saves) are safely migrated to their corresponding inventories (Squad and Storage inventories)

Rithvale Area
βš”οΈ fixed a few environmental issues with floating objects;
βš”οΈ Ruvan Village Elder NPC renamed to reflect her name;
βš”οΈ fixed Commoner pathing;
βš”οΈ disabled warning in the Effigy creature’s area when leaving for Thonargond;
βš”οΈ graverobbers are now appearing as intended during the quest and not before;
βš”οΈ Removed the Elder of Ruvan from the day-night timetable, to make her accessible at all times;
βš”οΈ Update Dragon to level 10 and updated some of its stats to make the fight more relevant.
Rithvale Outpost
βš”οΈ fixed double Old-Bean Truff NPC.
Rithvale Keep

βš”οΈ fixed an edge case where, if you did not deliver β€œLost Miners” quest but delivered β€œTher Mine” quest you would be locked out of delivering β€œLost Miners” as the NPC will disappear.
Forest of Nurdundas
βš”οΈ added a new merchant.
The Shrieking Pass
βš”οΈ Gerwin is now properly recruited.
Bilnaram Hills
βš”οΈ Added info on the map regarding Wizard being necessary for Bilnaram Cellar
Thonargond
βš”οΈ fixed an issue with the dome being accessible in a certain area.
Grimwood Crypt
βš”οΈ Improved rooftop hide event near certain buildings.
Thonargond Citadel, Thonargond Seat of Ancestors
βš”οΈ Fixed level of pickup gear recipes from auto Level to Level 14

[h3]πŸ“Œ Game-wide changes[/h3]
βš”οΈ Increase Physical/Magical Damage Weapon stats for 2 handed items (from 1.5x to 2.5x versus one handed items)
βš”οΈ Merchant System – Fixed option to Buy/Sell recipes (gear, cooking, alchemy)
βš”οΈ Quest Marks – fixed issue with color of quest mark (yellow instead of blue) when a merchant had also a rumor entry.
βš”οΈ Changed default level of audio settings to match the reset values.
βš”οΈ World Shrines that buff Stamina will now give the corresponding HP as well.
βš”οΈ Added missing Voice Over for Amaldir.
βš”οΈ Added Priestess of Amaldir world shrines in multiple areas that clear Curses and Diseases.
βš”οΈ Multiple typos are fixed in quest entries, UI and game story/lore.

[h3]πŸ“Œ Class Changes [/h3]
βš”οΈ Sentinel Class - increase damage for Backbreaker, Vigilant Strike, Igniting Blade. Banner of Might will give a buff on 20% Intellect as well beside Agility and Strength
βš”οΈ Kingsman Class - increased damage for some abilities and increased range for King's Fire ability
βš”οΈ Necromancer Class - increased damage and reduced cost for certain abilities. Infernal Edict damage and hit points adjusted
βš”οΈ Priest - Healing Well is now placed next in the Combat Queue thus providing the healing effect right after the end of turn of the current Priest character.

[h3]πŸ“Œ Combat System [/h3]
βš”οΈ During exploration Combat Focus will only deplete to a certain level based on the game difficulty (Easy – 35, Normal - 20, Hard – 15, Unfair - 10)
βš”οΈ Enemy abilities max range was lowered to values that match the max range of follower abilities
βš”οΈ Removed the 4th Action Point bonus for Boss characters when below 30% health (Easy Difficulty). For all other difficulty options elite and boss character will receive the 3rd Action Point respectively the 4th Action Point for at slightly lower health levels.
βš”οΈ Attack of Opportunity – increase change of triggering to 30% as well as range of trigger to 5 meters
βš”οΈ Greatly improved flow of combat system through the added 7 meters of free movement at the start of the character’s turn. This change offers greater flexibility in avoiding Line-of-Sight issues and generally improves combat experience flow by allowing the use of AP abilities while also moving in the same turn.
βš”οΈ Free movement range can be partially expended during the player’s turn over multiple movement actions so long the character still has Action Points left. Each Action Point consumed for movement will increase the free movement range by an additional 7 meters, governed by the same consumption mechanic.

The changes in this patch make for a comprehensive update to the combat system. This update is intended not only to improve on certain aspects that have been reported but also make the combat flow richer and offer a better experience overall.
