The backstory of our hero Michi, the process of hiring mascots, the dangers of work and the mystery of a deadly curse are just a few things touched on in the new video. Additionally, eagle-eyed viewers will be able to spot some newly-revealed mascots and characters. Is that a bat with a pickaxe?

As the first (and best) example of an Open World Mascot Management Crime Drama game, we’re sure you have questions about what that actually means. Hopefully today’s video clears up some of that confusion. Not too much, though - Promise Mascot Agency will have plenty of strangeness and mystery to uncover upon release.

Everyone at Kaizen Game Works is extremely proud to present Promise Mascot Agency, the world’s first (and best) open world mascot management crime drama.

Michi, a disgraced yakuza lieutenant, is exiled to a cursed town to turn a bankrupt mascot agency into a profitable enterprise. As he struggles in his new life, can he manage to create a successful business and unravel the conspiracy behind his exile? He’s helped by Assistant Manager Pinky, who happens to be a mascot herself.

It’s a hard game to explain in few words – we’ve got crime drama, flying trucks, unknowable beings that have lived among us since time was but a concept, mayoral elections, vloggers, business management and a cat that runs a closed-down train station. Just to name a few things.

I don't tend to write up Steam bundle discounts, but this is a rather good one. As the name suggests, LudoNarraCon and Fellow Traveller's Story-Rich Megabundle nets you 10 well-received narrative-heavy games for around £20, €23 or $25, including three games I'd personally say are among the choicest chunks of digital scribble to ever grace an SSD.
