Hello from the Rival Stars Horse Racing Desktop Edition team!

Welcome to the 1.12.1 Update notes. In this round of notes, we will be covering, Stat Training, Photo mode, and the highly requested feature….

[h2]Max Betting[/h2]

We have seen a high number of requests to add a Max betting button to the game, and we are excited to announce that it has finally made its way to the Desktop edition. No longer will you have to scroll to reach the maximum betting amount, now you have the option to set the maximum bet amount at the click of a button. Like always, this can be found on the Betting Party screen, Quick Ride mode, and Story Mode.



[h2]Training Stats[/h2]

Now that Jump has made its way to Desktop Edition, we can get into the nitty-gritty of enhancing your riding experience.

Making those tight turns in free roam is inevitable but the Agility stat is here to help. Training the Agility stat will allow your horse to make those tighter turns without having to compromise speed.

The Jump stat is the key to regaining your sprint energy. Nailing a Jump successfully instantly regains a portion of your horse's Sprint Energy. The higher you train the stat the more sprint energy you will recover, preparing your horse for the next jump.

To train the Agility and Jump stat you will need Agility/Jump Feed, this can be purchased in the Marketplace or gained from successfully completing story races



[h2]Photo mode[/h2]

Since the launch of the title, we have loved seeing the creative and amazing screenshots of your horses enjoying their time in the Free Roam environments, and in this update, we have made this easier for you!

Introducing the Free Roam Camera! A single button click will hide any on-screen text and allow you to capture those incredibly special moments between the rider and horse.

Once Photo mode is active all you need to do is take a screen capture and you are set! The Free Roam Camera is available in both Free Roam locations, we can’t wait to see the stunning photos you take!



[h2]Looking to the future[/h2]

Our next update is called “Green Pastures” and while we can’t give away too much at this stage we hope the name provides a hint at what's to come.

The 2022 Content Roadmap continues to deliver in version 1.12 of Rival Stars Horse Racing. so without further ado we’re excited to finally say-



That’s right! We are proud to announce the inclusion of the new Swiss Alps environment in Free Roam Mode!

Explore the awe inspiring fields of Switzerland, from its gorgeous meadows to its mountainous landscapes. There’s so much to see and experience in this all new environment!



Also included are features that will have you leaping (New jumps and obstacles!) and sprinting through the highly detailed shallow waters of the pond! With such scenic views we can’t think of a better way for you to put the recently updated stamina system to the test by trying one of the new jumping courses included in this environment.

Before we go, we would like to extend our thanks to our players for their continued support and patience in the development of Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition. As we continue to make updates and improvements to our game we want to assure our players that we hear your feedback and will continue to do our best to provide the best Horse Racing experience possible. We are currently working on introducing the Max Bet button (as requested by players) as well as an advanced photo-mode for Free Roam to be included in a future update!

Hello from the Desktop Edition team of Rival Stars Horse Racing!

The first update outlined in our 2022 Content Roadmap is finally here and we’re excited to share that as per the “jump into free roam” theme, the jump feature is now available in Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition!



Not only has the jump feature been added to Desktop Edition, but it also comes with some exclusive features.

Let’s take a look.

[h2]No time limits. Just fun![/h2]

Everyone loves spending time with their favorite horses, and in Desktop Edition we’re giving you the keys to the gate!

With no time limit and a new jumping course, you can explore the homestead to your heart’s content without a limit to the amount of time you can spend taking in the sights.



[h2]Watch your Stamina![/h2]

The secret to victory is knowing what your racehorse is capable of, and to do that you’ll need to master the stamina system!

In free roam you can now practice managing your horses’ stamina and get a feel of how the stamina system works outside of races! We believe that each horse should feel unique, and in Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition you’ll get to experience that in free roam. We encourage you to try it out with different horses and see how each of them is unique!

Hello from the Desktop Edition team of Rival Stars Horse Racing!

Over the past few months, we’ve been working behind the scenes to bring some of the most player-requested content to Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition and we’re excited to reveal our plans for 2022 in our new Content Roadmap!

We’re dedicated to providing our players with the best Horse Racing experience on Steam and are excited to tell you that our team is growing in order to achieve this. The Rival Stars Horse Racing team is bigger than ever before and we look forward to bringing you more content this year.

So let’s jump in!






Three major updates are on their way which includes a variety of new features and improvements to familiar mechanics. These updates are scheduled to be available in the coming months with version 1.12 releasing in Q2 of this year and 1.11 releasing as early as THIS COMING WEEK.

Although we don’t have a lot to share in regards to version 1.13 at this time, we are happy to announce that the theme of this update is “Greener Pastures”. We’ll let you deliberate on what this may look like but in the meantime, from the rolling hills of the homestead to the picturesque mountain tops of the Swiss Alps, there is a lot to be excited about in the coming months of Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition.

[h2] 1.11 Jump into Free Roam! - February 28th [/h2]

The 1.11 update brings one of the most widely requested features to Desktop Edition. The Jump feature is coming to Free Roam! So saddle up and get ready to ride your favorite horses out on the Homestead and test their skills over numerous jumps and hurdles. Explore the homestead with these new features on February 28th!



[h2] 1.12 The Swiss Alps! - Q2 2022 [/h2]

From its sprawling meadows to its gorgeous scenery, you’ll absolutely adore the new Swiss Alps environment. Each area is sprawling with photo opportunities for your horses to not only showcase their skills but also show off their looks! There are a few extra surprises coming in this update that we can’t wait to share with you, so make sure you keep up with all the latest updates!



[h2]1.13 Greener Pastures - TBA[/h2]

Now there’s not a lot to share for the 1.13 update at this time, but we hope the theme “Greener Pastures” gives you a little hint of the feature that will come with this update. We’re dedicated to providing our players with new ways to interact with and showcase their favorite horses and hope that while we’re keeping details a little vague, you’ll be just as we are to experience this update and all its features.
