Hi everyone, and welcome to the latest update notes for Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition!

In this update, we venture to the beautiful lush fields of Switzerland to prove your skills in Cross Country against the greats.

[h2]Switzerland Courses are here![/h2]

There are 6 new courses for you to tackle, each taking you through the breathtakingly rich fields of Switzerland. But that’s not all—just like the courses based at your ranch, each Switzerland course also has a Pro mode that you can unlock when you are ready to challenge your abilities even further.
Each course also offers different rewards. The harder the course, the better the rewards.




[h2]New story and character: Khadijah[/h2]

Get ready for an epic ride in the Cross Country Story Mode as we unveil 3 thrilling new chapters packed with 24 exciting missions. After honing your Cross Country skills with Kay's guidance at the ranch, it's time to answer the call of the big leagues. Brace yourself for an adventure in Switzerland like never before!

Prepare to encounter a fresh face on the scene—meet Khadijah, your new rival. With her infectious spirit, competitive nature, and captivating charisma, Khadijah is a force to be reckoned with. As an influential figure in both Cross Country and the realm of social media, she has earned her success through relentless dedication and innate talent.



Embark on the Cross Country Story Mode and put your abilities to the ultimate test as you strive to outshine Khadijah. Get ready for a chill yet exhilarating showdown like no other!


[h2]New scoring system[/h2]

Scoring for Cross Country has undergone a balancing change. Going forward, any penalty points accrued by missing or having your horse refuse a jump will now add time to the end of your run.



[h2]Foaling stalls[/h2]
Finally, we have made some changes to the way foaling stalls level up in-game. Previously, foaling stalls were levelled up individually. Now, all foaling stalls will be levelled up together, with all foaling stall levels being raised to meet the highest stall.

We have released hotfix 1.18.1 to address issues found in the last update.

-Fixed an issue making the game not respond if the player hires "Josie" as foal caretaker

It's time for another update! In version 1.18 - Another Chapter, we're excited to introduce the first part of the Cross Country story mode, along with some fresh visual updates to the interface and more.

[h2]Cross Country Story is here![/h2]

The first part of the thrilling new Cross Country story is finally here! We've got three fresh chapters loaded with exciting new missions and a surprise addition to the squad - say hello to Kay Swiftwater!
This daring new character is joining the Rival Stars Horse Racing universe and is ready to help you become a champion on your Cross Country adventure. Get to know Kay and her unique skills as you gallop towards glory and compete against the top riders in the game. So, what are you waiting for? Saddle up and let's ride!



[h2]Menu Screen [/h2]

Hooray for simplicity! We have made it easier for players to navigate through the game. The old mode selection screen is no longer in use, but fear not - it's been replaced by an even more efficient system. After selecting your save profile, you'll now be taken straight to the Story Home screen, allowing you to jump right into the action without any unnecessary steps.

But what about the features on the main page, you ask? We've got you covered!

Horse Creator can now be found under the Stables menu so you can access it without leaving your game.



Multiplayer, Quick race & Betting party are now accessible by going to the race menu and selecting “More Racing”



Game Settings is now under the Homestead screen. To swap profiles just press back while on the Home screen.

[h2]Goals[/h2]

Alongside the main menus, the Goals tab has undergone a refresh to make it more user-friendly. The new polished screen combines the Daily, Racing, and Cross Country Goals, making it easier to keep track of your progress. Don't worry, your goals will still function in the same way - it's just a fresh new look! To access your Daily Goals, simply tap on the Daily button, and a menu will appear with all the daily goals and rewards waiting for you to complete.



[h2]Horse Creator - Quick buy[/h2]

The horse-buying process in the Horse Creator just got a whole lot easier! We heard your feedback loud and clear in the last user survey (you guys rock!), so we've simplified things to make your life simpler.
Gone are the days of creating a horse, saving it to your collection, opening your collection, pressing "Show in Story Market", going to Story, going to Market, refreshing the market, and finally, purchasing your new equine friend. Phew, even typing that out was exhausting!

Now, the new and improved flow is as easy as pie. Simply create your horse, and press the "Buy" button on the same screen. Yes, you read that right - just one screen! And the best part? You can even see in real-time how much your new horse will cost.



[h2]Added Button[/h2]

To improve screen navigation, a home button has been added to the user interface, allowing users to easily return to the home screen when needed.

[h2]Head Markings[/h2]

Last but not least, we've just added 25 new head markings to the game, and without being too biased, we think they look absolutely incredible! We can't wait to see what kind of beauties you'll breed!
