Destructive heist sim Teardown adds free mini-campaign of art crimes

The excellent wall-demolishing heist sim Teardown today launched a free update adding a new mini-campaign starring the daughter of a character from the original campaign. Across the five new missions of Art Vandals, she's out to get revenge on an artist by raiding a modern art museum in a scenic seaside village. New crimes, new crimetools, and a new crimeplace? I thought I had retired but you got me: I'm in.

You can play the free mini-campaign available through the Expansions menu. We hope you enjoy the new missions and find the new Jackhammer tool useful.

This expansion was created as a mod to help introduce players to Teardown’s powerful modding systems. If you haven't tried your hand at modding, now is a great time to start!

Next Update is Coming December 15

Hello everyone!

We will be releasing a free expansion to Teardown on December 15.

It will include a mini-campaign where you play the role of Freya, Gordon Woo's daughter, in a series of missions set in the quiet village of Tilläggaryd.

We have created this entire expansion as a mod, since other modders might find it helpful as they look to create their own content for the game.

The best Teardown mods now are highlighted in game

You don't have to go searching high and low for the best Teardown mods anymore. The latest patch puts them front and centre in the sandbox game's internal mod manager, so it's a snap to find fun mods to add. There are already loads of featured mods to pick from, including new maps, new tools, giant enemies, and a loyal dog - which, yes, you can pet.

It just got much easier to find the best mods in Teardown

Voxel-based destruction sim Teardown got its 1.2 update today, and it promises to make the process of discovering mods even easier. The new featured mods list is curated by Teardown's devs at Tuxedo Labs, and highlights all sorts of "new maps, tools, vehicles, mini-games and more" to spare you the trouble of rummaging through the thousands of mods that already exist for the game...
