STEAM GAME FESTIVAL - WHAT IS BEHIND HELLSEED?
Hi guys,
We are very excited to announce HELLSEED demo will be participating in the Steam Game Festival!
HELLSEED is a first person horror adventure with puzzles and action, it is our first game and the first official game powered by our engine, S2ENGINE HD, available to all on Steam.

We are developing the game from early 2019, basing on 2 DLCs (Haunted House and EasyGamePack) we released for S2ENGINE HD.

The game script is based on a story written by Fabio (the engine coder and game coder, who is an HORROR genre fan) and then enriched with puzzles and mechanics thanks to the big experience of Mario (the graphics modeller) with games like Resident Evil.
One distinctive feature of the game is that is completely set in Italy:
In the demo this feature will just affect some environment elements but, in the final game, the "italian culture" will be much more evident during gameplay.
In the demo as in the game the player takes the role of a detective (Lucio Toscani), investigating about the missing of a psychiatrist (Doctor Angelo De Santis).
The game is set into the doctor house, a 1980 italian villa in province of Turin.
As the game progresses Toscani will discover many secrets about the Doctor but, indirectly, about himself.
In the demo we'll show a small preview of investigation, jumpscares and, finally a bit of action, because Toscani will be forced to face a unknown female demon who's indentity will be unveiled in the final game.
We'll expect feedback from demo players in order to improve the final game experience.

The game is still in development so you could experience some issues:
[h3]== PHYSX INSTALLATION ==[/h3]
If the first time you run HELLSEED it says you to re-install Physx drivers don't worry it is a known problem that appears on some configurations.

Simply restart your PC.

If restarting PC doesn't solve the problem follow these steps:

HELLSEED uses OpenGL graphics library.
In order to achieve the best experience with HELLSEED we suggest some operations related to graphics card your system owns:
[h3]GEFORCE[/h3]
Go to the NVIDIA control panel and enable "Triple Buffer".
When starting HELLSEED check "Wait Retrace".
[h3]AMD[/h3]
Go to the AMD control panel and, in "Settings" -> "Graphics" enable "Enhanced Sync".
When starting HELLSEED check "Wait Retrace".

- 2 - Reboot PC
- 3 - Install physx located in steamapps/common/HELLSEED_Demo/3rd
