Marbles on Stream News

Off season testing is almost done as the Marbles and the Teams fine tune their equipment to make sure they bring their best load-outs to the track...

Season 3 of The MSLA will be firing those engines up on Saturday July 10th at 2pm ET for The Marble 500! with the MSLA Commissioner: Enderzworld (https://www.twitch.tv/MSLARacing)

500 laps around the Paperclip to determine which individual and which team starts the season off with the momentum that might help take them to the Championships at the end of September!

Remember each race winner will get a custom 3D printed trophy and the Top 3 all get the exclusive MSLA marble skin. At the end of the season in September we will crown a Season Champion who will get a special Championship Trophy and a MSLA Champion player card they can equip in the game. Also, ALL members of the Championship Team will win a special Team Champ Trophy!

General:
- New Season 24 Skins, Modifiers, Effects, Pins And Cards

- Updated Track: Coils of Power
- Updated Reflections in Laps Maps
- Added filtering of # when saving a map
- Added support for V2 twitch emotes
- Updated UI when the game is not fully connected to a platform
- Season Rank should say 'Not Ranked' in Player Profile widget instead of -1

Bugs:
- Fixed a visual price issue when inspecting the Season Bundle
- Fixed by with jiggly Morbie Skins
- Fixed an issue with not being able to toggle slow motion during countdown
- Fixed an display issue in the local leaderboard list
- Fixed an issue with targetting a marble after showing/hiding the game HUD
- Fixed an issue where new accounts were not being read correctly when 'Requires Marble Account' is selected to join the race
- Pixel's Procedural Pathway should no longer turn red in the map list

SEASON 24 is now LIVE today Wednesday June 30th, 2021!!!

The update should be rolling out to steam as we speak!

If you are not seeing the update please try shutting down Steam and restarting it. It should process the update then!

The mobile app update for Android should also be rolling out soon on GooglePlay and the Apple iOS version should be available shortly.

Patch notes will be posted soon. Remember Season 24 will be from June 30th, 2021 to August 1st, 2021!

- Now you may be wondering what is Marbles on Stream?
MoS is a stream interactive game designed to involve a Twitch Streamers viewers in a fun Marble racing game. All the viewer needs is to type !play in the respective streamers chat they would like to join. Simple and easy for all.

- Where were we before Steam?
We were tucked away in our little Discord server and that is how it was downloaded before as we developed out the game season by season. If you are interested in joining feel free as we use Discord as our gathering space for the community. Discord.gg/pixelbypixelstudios.

- How to play Marbles on Stream?
Streamers - Download marbles, log in with your Twitch Crendentials so the game can connect to your Twitch chat and begin reading typed commands. Play in picked Game Tracks, Community Tracks, Marble Royale or our newest mode Tilted. All modes are viewer implemented so you can involve your viewers in all the game modes and just have fun.

Viewers/Racers - Join any stream on Twitch.tv streaming Marbles on Stream, be sure to greet the streamer, and get invovled in their races simply by typing !play in their chat.

- Twitch Emotes?
Our game includes the functionality of certain emotes on Twitch.tv that will load specific skins into the game for the viewer who uses them. Its a fun little community thing we do.

- Seasons?? Why?
We introduced seasons in May 2018 and each season brings new content to the game. It also resets the leaderboards and deletes all the community tracks from the global system.

Leaderboard points are global which means it does not matter where you race, you are earning points towards your total. We also delete all the community tracks from our system so each season brings fresh tracks in, and gives the builders the chance to reflect on the votes and possibly make changes to their existing tracks.

Streamers get a unique experience with Marbles. Streamers earn XP by conducting races. We use a very complex mathematical system to calculate how much each race earns them. At the end of the season we take the top 10 Streamers and host a fun little collection of events and the streamer who earns the most points during the last day of the season events will earn their emote in the game for the next 2 seasons. Their emote will load their own custom marble into the race for that time.

It has all come down to the Finale race of Season 2 - The MSLA 301!

The MSLA 301 will be taking place on Saturday June 26th, 2021 at 4pm ET at twitch.tv/MSLARacing!

There are 4 individuals who mathematically have a chance at the Season 2 MSLA Championship! Good Luck to Miikman32, terrynicol1312, Trunks19814, & DarkBlade!

On the Team Standings, the Top 7 teams are all within reach of the Team Championship! Team Lunar Eclipse, French Connection, Chocolate Chippers, FC IENCLI, Flying Unicorns, Win with Tin Racing, & WiN with SiN Racing all have a shot at the Team Title!

Good Luck to all and remember aside from these Championships there are still prizes to be handed out to the Race Winner, Top 3, and the 2 Stage winners!

Only 2 races remain in Season 2 of the MSLA... Who will become the next Champions?!?

For the first time in MSLA history we are combining 2-fun things about a day into 1 exciting race! It's Go Fishing Day and National Flip Flop Day so I give you The Flip Flop Fish MSLA race on Friday June 18th, 2021 at 3pm ET.

We will be racing for 260 laps around the track that started it all... The Paperclip!

We will also be holding a contest in Discord voice during the race for a special MSLA prize pack to be awarded to the person who can say "Flip Flop Fish" the most time in 15 seconds!!! more details to follow

So get your Flip Flops on, kick back on the dock with the line in the water... and then run inside to make sure you drop your marble on Friday June 18th, 2021 at 3pm ET!!!

Things are different this season as the team size has been increased, an additional team member now contributes to the Team Championship and now ALL racers on the track will earn point/points. IN the end the winner of this race will win the first Season 2 MSLA 3D printed Trophy and the Top 3 will win the Exclusive MSLA marble skin!
