To everyone who was looking forward to the launch of the Chinatown Detective Agency Prologue later today,

It is with massive disappointment that I have to announce we’re delaying the release by a couple of days. We are now releasing the Prologue on Friday, October 2, 7:00 am PDT / 10:00 pm SG.

I’m very disheartened. I know a lot of people were looking forward to this, but at the moment of this announcement, there are still some things that need fixing so that you enjoy the game to its fullest. In fact, even after the release, we will continue improvements to the game, but we really want to provide you with the prologue before the weekend.

We believe that delaying the game so that we can release it in a much better state is way better than disappointing all of you with a noticeably flawed version just to meet the previously planned launch date.

We are a small team, and we’ve been working tirelessly to make this prologue happen. But everyone is excited and eager to share with you a prologue we’re all happy with. We’re hoping for your patience, and to allow us a little more time to work towards that build.

We've been absolutely overwhelmed by all the love you've shown Chinatown Detective Agency and Chinatown Detective Agency: Day One over the last few weeks since we announced our free prologue.

The wishlist influx has been incredible, with Chinatown Detective Agency leaping onto Steam's "Popular Upcoming" list, much to our surprise and delight. This is all because of your support, so again, thank you from all of us here at General Interactive.
