Aurum - Unified Extendable Work & Gaming Overlay News

June 2nd update

Gallery after release updates
The gallery thumbnails have been updated with the authors websites icons.
You can specify your websites in the new account settings in the settings tab.

Changes
The volume slider had it's own color settings, which has ne been removed and instead connected to the active theme. You can now select any of the usual themes instead.

Additions
While in edit mode you can now easier transition with the new bring back edit mode, open explorer and open browser icons.

A tiny core function
..has been implemented: Images of any shape now react pixel exact to cursor hovering. You have to disable the background in the button layout settings for this to activate (+ use a command).

Other fixes:
Focused textboxes on widgets don’t steal ctrl+ hotkeys anymore
Texts in the themedesigner have been replaced with icons.
Also there was a bug with downloaded gallery items which has now been fixed.
+ some copy paste, themedesigner, and small workflow fixes.

If you had a crash, please don't hesitate and use the also recently implemented report button at the bottom of the overlays overview.

June update: Steamworks integration

To be able to enjoy Aurum and get new interfaces straight to your screen, Aurum has been freshly updated with the overlay & theme gallery!
You can now upload, browse and rate others content.
To enable the new features select beta in Aurum app steam settings. After a week the update will be in non beta.

A quick workflow overview
Every uploaded Aurum content can be seen as a pack. A pack can contain a combination of layers and themes.
If you want to publish your content you select public, if you just want to backup, private.
When you find something you like hit download. The content will be downloaded to your overlays overview and theme pickers.
You can use the thumbs and heart to rate or favorite others content.
Soon also added will be: Subscriptions and Links to the owners website.

Starting today
When you visit the gallery you will note that it's yet pretty "starting up".
Therefore, this month's task is to find some talented artists to make finding the right command center console you are looking for easy.
As the exchange, links to the artists websites can be visibly placed in each preview.

Another small upgrade..
To celebrate the upcoming summer an experimental feature has been added: Shadows. Next to the border and background settings you will now also find the shadow options.
As shadows usually tend to be an esthetic factor see for yourself what they can do.

Thanks!
Also big and first thanks to everyone who bought Aurum, it is an appreciated support. I work on updates almost every day, and things will keep being upgraded.

Performance update and bugfixes preparation for June update

containing a couple of bugfixes and small features!
Amongst them a noticeable animation performance bottleneck fix for some systems, a go to option in the context menu, and dropping multiple images at once.
This release is a preparation for the main June update happening in the next days!

May update bringing hotcorners available in beta now

One of Aurums main goals is to bring functions fast,
So far this was handled by hotkeys only (connected to dpi button on mouse for extra speed).
To make aurum more versatile, hotcorners have been added to the overlay trigger options.

They come with adjustable lengths and delays.

Also above two new useful functions:
The green smart activate/deactivate whole overlay button as well as the load overlay on start option.

Additionally the following have been fixed or updated:
Fixed crashing with empty layer animations
More intuitive layer settings
Fixed several multiscreen features
Fixed some edit mode details
Fixed jump to mouse layers, fixed for multiscreen
Fixed selected layer when entering edit mode
Quality now to decreasing with zoom animations

Any input appreciated! If you can spare some time visit the forums and drop your two cents.
Next update is probably going to be the steam gallery connected module or performance counters.
Tune in!
