APEX LEGENDS: ECLIPSE PATCH NOTES

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
NEW LEGEND: CATALYST
As a teenager on Boreas, Tressa Crystal Smith and her coven of friends prayed for and by the light of their broken moon. But fate brought her up to it when she ran away at fifteen to join a terraforming crew working to rebuild the moon. She took to the work, feeling a connection between her work with ferrofluid and the rituals of her past. But the unwelcome arrival of the Apex Games brought her peaceful life to an end. Now she joins the Games as Catalyst, a Legend determined to bring change and defend her home. She can use her ferrofluid to reinforce doors, form piercing spikes and obscure the playing field with high ferrofluid walls. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic, and by the time her opponents make the call? It’ll be far too late.
PASSIVE: Barricade
Reinforce doors, strengthening them and locking them to enemies' spaces where doors have been destroyed can also be reinforced.
TACTICAL: Piercing Spikes
Throw out a patch of Ferrofluid which turns into spikes when enemies are near. Catalyst remains immune to enemy spikes.
ULTIMATE: Dark Veil
Raise a permeable wall of Ferrofluid. Enemies who walk through it will be slowed and partially blinded for a brief time.
NEW MAP: BROKEN MOON
The Legends are dropping onto not only a Broken Moon, but a divided one. Explore the beauty and serenity of the Eternal Gardens and Bionomics, or venture to the moon's dark side and visit marred, industrial locales like The Perpetual Core and Breaker Wharf. Grapple, climb, or use jump stations to access new Zip Rails and traverse the jagged terrain. Built for locals to quickly navigate the slopes and chasms of Cleo, they’re just the thing for Legends in a hurry.
GIFTING
Whether you’re introducing a new friend to Apex Legends or welcoming back an old one, you don’t just want to catch them up on the story. Share the freshest Apex style with other players via the new Gifting system, which allows you to purchase bundles and cosmetic items in the Store tab for your in-game friends.
STICKERS
Stickers are a brand new cosmetic we’re introducing this season that lets players equip stickers to healing items! Whether you are regen-ing your shields or healing with a syringe you can now do it in style! All players will get the Shattered and Deathbox stickers for free when Eclipse launches. Apex Legends' lack of legend changes for Season 15 is "frustrating"

The Apex Legends Season 15 release time is almost upon us and Respawn Entertainment has just dropped the latest set of patch notes for the battle royale shooter. As you might imagine, there are some changes worth looking at - for example, Apex Legends' Eclipse update is changing the weapon meta with a hop-up shake up. However, fans are finding it somewhat frustrating that there's a lack of legend changes coming to Apex Legends in Season 15.

When it comes to legend-related changes in the Season 15 patch notes, there really aren't any. Apex Legends players can expect to see bug fixes for Vantage's Sniper's Mark passive ability and a visual fix for Crypto's Biwon Blade heirloom, but nothing in the way of legend balancing changes.

While this does mean that our Apex Legends tier list is going to remain largely unchanged going forwards, which should help us place the battle royale's newest face, it does mean that everyone who thinks one legend needs a nerf - or another needs a buff - will have to wait.

Apex Legends Season 15 release time - when is the Eclipse update?

We know Apex Legends' Catalyst is Seer's worst nightmare - and Apex Legends wants Catalyst to appeal to every playstyle - but, we can't wait to dive into Broken Moon as the newest character in Respawn Entertainment's battle royale shooter. If you're wondering how long we have to wait to do that, though, you can find out everything you need to know about the Apex Legends Season 15 release time right here.

If you're wondering why you should care much about when Apex Legends' Eclipse update drops, all you need to do is take a look at what's coming. Apex Legends' new map Broken moon has been built with LTMs like Control in mind, but the devs are unsure if Ranked players will like it. However, with POI locations twice the size as normal and new Ziprails, this new Apex Games arena is shaping up to be a fantastic new addition to the game.

Similarly, looking at Apex Legends' Catalyst abilities, it's clear that she's going to be a fantastic new character for players looking to climb the Apex Legends ranks. Her unique kit can cater to both defensive and aggressive gameplay, offering fantastic synergies with Caustic and Wattson, or Octane and Horizon.

Apex Legends' Eclipse update changing weapon meta with hop-up shake up

The Apex Legends Season 15 release time is creeping up on us and Respawn Entertainment has just dropped a brand new set of Apex Legends patch notes, detailing some of the major changes coming to the battle royale shooter in the Eclipse update. One thing that's worth talking about is how the developers are taking on the game's weapon meta by shaking up the hop-ups that are available in-game.

If your go-to battle royale loadout includes a G7 Scout or an EVA-8 with Double Tap Trigger, you're in luck. This hop-up is going to remain as floor loot in Apex Legends' Eclipse update. However, as per this set of Apex Legends patch notes, it's going to be legendary floor loot going forwards.

Interestingly, though, this should be much more valuable to those of you using the light ammo marksman rifle. Going forward, the Double Tap Trigger hop-up should offer something of an improved recoil pattern when used with the G7 Scout - something we're sure a lot of fans will be happy with.
