Vantage - Survivalist Sniper
Xiomara "Mara" Contreras is a survivalist who can see a threat coming from down her sniper scope from thousands of meters away. Born to a wrongfully-convicted criminal who gave birth to her alone on the barren ice planet Págos, Vantage has grown into the ultimate survivalist. Forced to live off a hostile land, she became unfathomably good with a scoped weapon.
REFORGED KINGS CANYON UPDATE
In Season 5, Skull Town and Thunderdome were sunk by a massive explosion caused by Loba. Now that the Salvage operation is complete, the Syndicate has rebuilt the area for the Apex Games. Dredging machines have refilled the space with sand from the ocean floor, and a new battleground has been rebuilt with the iconic skull as its centerpiece.
LEVEL CAP INCREASE
Players can now level past account level 500 through 3 additional tiers of 500 levels bringing the effective level maximum to Level 500 Tier 3. This increase adds 345 additional Apex Packs earnable via account leveling, and ensures that everyone can earn an heirloom just by playing the game. The total number of Apex Packs earnable via account leveling is now 544.
BATTLE PASS
Certain Battle Pass challenges can now be completed in either Battle Royale or non-Battle Royale modes, giving you the flexibility to complete the Battle Pass your way.

Apex Legends bolts on extra Horizon ultimate nerf to Season 14 update

If you're a Horizon main looking at the Apex Legends patch notes for Season 14, you will have felt slightly aggrieved, with a couple of nerfs being dished out to the bonnie lass' ultimate. However, we've got some bad news for you, as the pain isn't going to end there.

A few hours after the release of the patch notes, Respawn put out a follow-up tweet with a rather glaring omission regarding Horizon's ultimate nerfs. On top of those outlined in the original notes, there is also a third (and for more significant) nerf to her Black Hole that has certainly got Horizon mains talking. "One more change that didn't quite make it into the patch notes: Horizon's Black Hole is now susceptible to friendly fire/damage," Respawn tweets.

Couple this with the fact that the NEWT at the centre of the Black Hole is now easier to take out by enemies after being made weaker, and you've got an ult that can now quite easily be wiped out by both the opposition and even your own squad.

Apex Legends Season 14 update might have made Mad Maggie meta

Apex Legends' Season 14 release time is looming and Respawn Entertainment has just shared the patch notes for this free-to-play battle royale game's Hunted update. While we already knew a little bit about what to expect from this Apex Legends update, one thing that hasn't been revealed until now are the exact buffs and nerfs being dished out to the game's legends. With Apex Legends patch notes now out in the wild, it makes for interesting reading - especially if you're a Valk, Gibraltar, and Mad Maggie main.

While many will focus on the huge and much-needed nerfs to Valk (and the surprising lack of nerfs to Seer, who grew massively in popularity throughout last season), there's one very interesting change to Mad Maggie that could be quite significant in Season 14. To combat her pretty awful pick rate, Respawn has buffed Maggie's Wrecking Ball ultimate - and it's about to piss off everyone it comes up against.

Not only has Wrecking Ball's duration been doubled and can travel twice as far as it used to, it will now deal damage (thus potentially destroy) loads of legend utility, such as Loba's Black Market, Newcastle's Castle Walls, and Caustic's gas traps. The biggest shock of them all? It can now take out a Gibby dome.
