Apex Legends' Warriors collection event drops off brand new Arena map

Apex Legends' third anniversary celebrations have come and gone and now we're looking forward to the next in-game event from Respawn Entertainment - and fans of the free-to-play battle royale shooter have a lot to be excited about. The Warriors collection event is coming to Apex Legends on March 29 and it's bringing with it a new Arena map, Crypto's Heirloom, and a new set of cosmetics. Oh, and Control is back.

"Sitting high above the skyline of Malta is the fully automated Hammond Manufacturing Tower", explains Respawn Entertainment, which makes up Drop-Off - Apex Legends' newest Arena map. Much like other Arena maps, Drop-Off is a battlefield dictated by three commanding POI locations: Observation Deck, Deployment Line, and Loading Bay.

All three of these POI locations offer up different combat scenarios for legends to master. Observation Deck is higher up, but limits verticality with lower ceilings. Deployment Line is the effective mid-lane for this Arena map and moving containers offer dynamic cover opportunities mid-fight. Loading Bay, an exterior POI, is spread across the Deployment Line with a high risk-reward ratio when it comes to finding additional Material Canisters.

Apex Legends leaks suggest new character could be Bangalore's brother

One of the biggest Apex Legends character leaks we've ever seen has appeared online and appears to reveal details regarding the next nine legends to join Respawn Entertainment's battle royale. Newcastle, the most 'complete' legend of the lot, is rumoured to be Jackson Williams, Bangalore's brother, and the support legend Apex fans have been waiting for.

The latest set of Apex Legends character leaks, which can be found collated here on the ApexUncovered subreddit, showcase the unfinished builds of nine upcoming playable legends. However, fans are certain that Newcastle (the most visually finished legend in the leaks) is going to be the next new face we see in the Apex Games.

Charlie Intel, the outlet that first spotted the leaks online, doubles down on the idea citing Newcastle's "fleshed out" animations and textures as evidence that he's next. Looking at his leaked abilities, he can't come soon enough. Newcastle could be the next support legend that Apex desperately needs.

Huge Apex Legends leak reveals nine future characters, a new map, and more

A huge Apex Legends leak has happened overnight, with nine upcoming characters, skins, new maps and more making their way online for all to see. If legitimate, these leaks would appear to spoil the next year or two of Apex Legends updates.

Initially uploaded to R/ApexUncovered, a subreddit dedicated to leaks and datamines of the popular battle royale, and originally reported on by CharlieIntel, these leaks came in the form of a folder containing files detailing many upcoming additions to the game. This folder has since been taken down, however the contents have been archived and reposted, meaning these leaks are here to stay for anyone who takes the time to seek them out.

The most eye catching of these leaks comes in the form of a character selection screen, which features nine currently unreleased characters and their abilities. The most detailed of which comes in the form of Newcastle, a new legend with a unique model indicating they’re the character that’ll be released next, as the other eight are currently training dummies.
