Apex Legends still has stability issues after patch that should've fixed them

If you've tried to play Apex Legends over the last week or so and noticed that things have been pretty slow, you're not alone. Since the game's Evolution Collection event launched last week, the battle royale and its servers have been struggling, and Respawn Entertainment have been tinkering away to try and sort it all out. Yesterday, they issued a patch to resolve a number of bugs and improve stability, but having played a few matches myself last night, it seems we're not out of the woods just yet.

Respawn says 'who knows what the future holds' after confusing everyone with 'Titanfall 3 doesn't exist' statement

In a livestream earlier this week, Respawn Entertainment community coordinator Jason Garza shot down any hope we might have had for a new Titanfall game. Garza was asked to offer an update on the series, reiterating - to everyone's disappointment - that there's nothing in development there.

"Don't get your hopes up, man. I've said this before, we just don't have anything in the works. There's nothing there. We've got too many other games in the works right now," Garza said.

It's worth noting that this statement was made on Garza's own YouTube channel towards the end of a personal stream. Nevertheless, having a job as someone who often speaks for Respawn caused his comments to go viral.

Apex Legends' server issues may not get fixed for a few more days

Respawn has said that various issues regarding player problems with disconnection and server errors in battle royale, Apex Legends, may not get fixed until a patch is pushed to the game on September 22.

If you're a regular Apex Legends player, you may not be surprised to hear that the hit FPS game is once again suffering with server issues. The latest issues don't come from hackers irritated by Respawn's treatment of the Titanfall series, but rather are cropping up thanks to – seemingly – a recent patch that was introduced to the game.

Develoepr Respawn has itself confirmed the current server issues, with the studio saying it's noted three times the ususal number of disconnections from the game across all platforms.

Rampart's pick rate now higher than Seer's in Apex Legends Season 10

She has meandered near the bottom of our Apex Legends tier list ever since she was released in Season 6, but following her buff in this week's update, Rampart's pick rate is finally on the rise.

The minigun-toting legend was given the ability to move around with her trusty Shiela, rather than have to keep it mounted in one place. As a result, her pick rate has skyrocketed over the last couple of days, to the point where she is now being played more often than Seer, Season 10's new legend, and OG legends like Bangalore.

Prior to her buff, Rampart was at the very bottom of the pile when it comes to pick rates, with only 1.4% of players willing to pick her. However, she now boasts a pick rate of 5.2%, according to Apex Status, making her the sixth most-played legend in the game right now. Only the meta picks of Octane, Wraith, Pathfinder, Bloodhound, and Lifeline are being picked more frequently.
