All 24 items will be available through direct purchase (for Apex Coins or Crafting Metals) and in Spellbound Event Apex Packs for the entire duration of the event.

If you unlock all 24 cosmetics before the event is over, you’ll automatically receive Seer’s new Heirloom, the “Showstoppers”!

You can earn up to 1,600 points per day and challenges refresh daily. All these challenges also stack with your Battle Pass so you can complete multiple challenges at once.

Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event start time countdown

We know it feels like an age since the last collection event in Apex Legends, but Respawn Entertainment is ushering in the new year with a brand new one: the Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event. With Apex Legends' Control returning and a new heirloom item up for grabs, this is going to be well worth checking out. Here's everything we know about the Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event start time and what you can expect from this event.

Respawn Entertainment has already shared all Apex Legends' Spellbound skins, which you can check out by following the link, but when does the collection event itself kick off? Well, the Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event start time is 10:00 PST / 13:00 EST / 18:00 BST on January 10. While absent from Respawn Entertainment's blog post, this is the standard update time for the battle royale and we're confident that this is when the Spellbound Collection Event will start in Apex Legends.

Apex Legends Spellbound event kicks of the year with a little bit of magic

Apex Legends players are set to have a magical start to their year, as the Spellbound Collection event is bringing back the Control limited time mode, as well as a full gambit of new cosmetics to unlock.

The Spellbound collection event will be launching across all platforms on January 10 and ends on January 24. Alongside all of the magic-themed skins and the return of control, private matches are also on the way, which is sure to be a big deal for influencers and tournament organisers.

With the cosmetics, there are 24 Spellbound skins available for a limited time, for both weapons and certain characters including Mad Maggie, Mirage, Seer and more. To get these, you can either buy them directly from the store, or get them from limited time Spellbound packs while the event is live.

Imagine a battle royale game, right, but instead of dropping into an arena with one life and no guns, you actually start with your loadout and can respawn as many times as you like while you fight over control points in 9v9 matches. Now stop imagining that, because it's exactly what you'll get to do when Control mode temporarily returns to Apex Legends next week as part of the Spellbound Collection Event. I think the idea's got legs.
