[h2]Balancing[/h2]
- Increased the cost of dizziness for controller users by 25% to help combat helicoptering
-- We're open to further feedback on this. If you feel like your legit playstyles are getting you dizzy, please post clips.

[h2]New[/h2]
- Added a title system, can be found in Player -> Titles.
-- Currently we only have the exclusive titles for various things such as leagues and the upcoming ranked.
-- Patreon supporters on the legendary tier can have a custom title that they choose. DM me if you are eligible. (not conflicting with existing titles).
-- We'll be adding titles you can obtain through gameplay in the near future
- Added party chat. When you're in a party with someone you can now talk to them using the chatbox on the main menu and in practice mode.
- Your own name is now highlighted on the leaderboards with a golden line in front of it so you can find yourself easier
- Added a new filter to custom games to only show locked or open lobbies
- The locker room has been transformed from anniversary to holidays decorations!

- Changed the tutorial to reflect some stats on where people got stuck or were too advanced for an intro to the game

[h2]Cosmetics[/h2]
- Added cucumber eyes, toothbrush stick

[h2]Fixes[/h2]
- Fixed the highlighting on the indoor stick
- The match found buzzer is now correctly controlled by the UI volume slider
- Fixed a server side issue that caused it to panic and die.

To finish the anniversary celebrations, we have released Steam Community Items including trading cards, badges, emoticons and profile backgrounds. You'll receive a trading card roughly every 30 minutes of gameplay. Craft them into badges to get emoticons and backgrounds or get them from the Steam points shop! 🙌

- Added team chat, pressing 'Y' opens a team specific chat. Can be rebound in the controls.
- Informational quick chats will now only be broadcasted to your own team

- Slapshot: Rebound is 1 year old today! To celebrate we have a login reward until December 14th and have decorated the locker room accordingly

- We fixed some of the most problematic cases where the puck would get stuck on its side
- Increased a lot of stability on the back-end services to avoid some disconnects or crashes

Until November 1st, Slapshot Premium is 10% for the Halloween sale!

- All regular sized arenas are now in the rotation for public matches, this introduces Slapville and Outdoor to pubs!
- Added an esports hub with links to the 3 major community leagues as well as esports livestream notifications and video guides
- When backfilled you will now see a message that if you lose, you will not get this loss added to your record
- Created more advanced alternative account checking tools; this will be used to help uphold the integrity of competitive leagues
- We are introducing more automated systems to battle against toxicity in the game; now we have multiple levels:
-- 1 month mute for racist, homophobic or otherwise hateful speech (existing)
-- 7 day mute for other toxic behavior that is picked up (new)

[h2]Preparing for ranked[/h2]
- A public match will now be in a warmup mode until everyone has loaded in
- If not everyone loads into a match, the match will be cancelled

[h2]Other[/h2]
- Removed the Unity splash screen so you can get to play at least 2 seconds earlier!
- Added a start screen that shows you your login status with Steam and the Slapshot servers
-- Now, if you are unable to connect because of Steam, it will be more clear in the popups
- Added a toggle in the settings that allows you to hide the spectator buttons on the bottom

- Added the old Steampunk model as a variant of the new one
- Created an extra variant for the goalie helmet owners
- Added water eyes, lightning eyes, santa set, vampire cape, neon gloves, alien eyes, star eyes, pumpkin mouth & eyes,

- Fixed a bug where you'd be unable to save the game settings if you were spectating a match
- Fixed a bug where pressing 'A' on controller to continue in the tutorial would also zoom your camera
- The player cap (12) in custom game lobbies is now actually enforced
