Season Correction, Launch Fixes, Quality of Life additions

Rebound v1.1.0 is now live ːreboundː

First off, thank you so much for the fantastic full launch! We have reached all of our launch goals and are so happy with how much you love The Pond and the new season pass. As mentioned in the launch post, 1.0 doesn't mean the game is finished, so here's some more features and changes already:
Season Correction
With the soft reset, we noticed we over-tuned how much it would reset the 'uncertainty' factor (how much you gain/lose), we have corrected this:
- Your rating has received a correction to what it should have been based on all of your matches in this season so far. This will show up as a Season Correction when hovering over the rating change in the career interface. If this change kicks you out of a rank, you will have to reach it again to qualify for season rewards. If the change puts you in a higher rank, it automatically qualifies you for the season rewards unless you have not completed your placement matches.
- The default uncertainty factor for soft resets have been changed to reflect the new changes and corrections
NEW
- Added a button to go to the pond from the end game screen
- Added notifications when people join/leave your lobby, even when you're in practice
- Added a new setting to hide the score bug (intended for broadcasters)
- Added a command broadcasterinfo on/off that writes a file with the current game status for broadcasting software. The file is located in your installation folder.
- Added a timestamp to the rating changes in Player -> Career
Cosmetics
- Added support for back items to Oni and Pestilence
- Added support for hairstyles on the penguin hat
Fixes
- Removed the grace period for leaving within seconds of the end because of abuse.
- Fixed a bug where if you left during the replay of a mercy rule, you would sometimes get leave penalties on top of the match result
- Fixed the Baseball and Tennis ball puck sizes

Good luck, have fun!

Slapshot Rebound 1.0 is OUT NOW!

Slapshot Rebound 1.0 is here!

We're very excited to bring you the full release of Slapshot Rebound! We've been working on the game for the last 4+ years, making countless of improvements, adding new features and working with all of you to make the game the best it can be. As mentioned in the initial announcement, 1.0 does not mean the game is done - we will continue working on it and bringing you more awesome things.

Check out the new launch trailer! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3-04aUXFDA
The Pond
We've been teasing The Pond for a very long time and it is finally here in all its glory. You can join The Pond from the main menu while you're in the queue for a match or just because you want to hang out with others. It's a place to practice, play minigames and have fun together without any pressure.
Season 1
The pre-seasons have concluded! Everyone that has played their placement matches in pre-season 2 will get a title and gloves for the peak rank they have achieved. Season 1 starts off with a soft reset of the ranks, meaning you'll need to redo your placements but start off at your previous rating. The rating calculations, matchmaking algorithm and rank requirements have been adjusted to reflect everything we've learned from the pre-seasons!
Season 1 Pass
The new season brings with it an all-new season pass with 50+ new cosmetics. If you've completed the previous pass, you'll have received enough pux to get this one for free (if you didn't spend them ). This pass also contains pux rewards to pay back your initial investment. There's some cool new free cosmetics on the free track as well! You'll still have unrestricted access to the previous pass, you can select which pass is active in the new dropdown menu on the Season tab.
Patch Notes
While most of the changes in early access have come through the bi-weekly and monthly updates, there's a few new ones in this patch too!

Improved matchmaking, quality of life, queue from practice, preparing for launch

Rebound v0.99.0 is now live ːreboundː

You may have noticed we jumped to v0.99.0 from v0.78.0 - that's because this is the last patch before the v1.0.0 release on April 11th!
This patch introduces a lot of quality of life and other improvements as well as additions to the Pond which will launch as an open lobby with the game's release.
New features
- Added a sumo minigame to the pond. This is available when making a custom game using the pond gamemode, and will be available in the open pond lobbies with the full release on April 11th.
- Pressing escape in any offline mode now pauses the game
- Added a shake to the stamina bar when you try to dash and don't have enough. This can be toggled off in the settings.
- Added a zoom sensitivity setting
- Added an opacity slider for your resources (stamina & dizziness)
- Added the ability to start/stop matchmaking queue from practice modes
- Created an internal system that reports the server's latency to players to us so we can make more informed decisions regarding server locations
- Added a setting so you can choose whether puck lift is hold or toggle
- Added a new public API endpoint that allows API users to get a Slap ID from a Steam ID (For creating applications)
- The ranked leaderboard now shows your placement on the top right (note: it will not show if you have not played a match in 7+ days)
Matchmaking
- Improved matchmaking for solo queue and parties, should result in more balanced matches
- Adjusted rating calculations to more accurately reflect your rank after doing placements
Improvements
- Implemented several big performance improvements to the servers
- Added hover tooltips to the abbreviated stats in Player -> Stats
- Added proper controller support to spectator mode
- The escape menu flow has been improved, doesn't close when closing a submenu or closing settings
- Reduced the zooming in/out cooldown after replays from 1.5s to 0.5s to prevent accidental zooms
- Added the zoom cooldown to pressing resume too, so you don't accidentally zoom when going back to your match (Controller)
- Fixed and improved the esports live system; it will now show up when it's set up even when you're already on the main menu
- Added arena size specific caster camera locations, most notable the XL arena now has a better caster camera location
- The recommended region selection now shows you which regions it has selected (by toggling them on when recommended is selected)

- Fixed FPS limits not always working when changing scenes
- Fixed the settings menus not properly recalculating their content sizes when a toggle hides/shows other settings
