Possessing an incredible force of attraction, the anomaly sucks in everything, including the rays of light, until its appetites are satisfied, after which for a while it goes into a state of rest - it loves an afternoon nap.

An encounter with a Catchfools can be both fatal for a stalker if it is hungry, and very useful if you manage to find it in a short moment of rest. A wormhole will open in the heart of the anomaly and If you put a weapon there, the anomaly will return it to you + 50% of its cost. Rumor has it that in special cases, if you find and feed it a .50 BMG, then she can return the Barrett M82 rifle.

But be careful - the Catchfools can deceive, beat and destroy you at the most inopportune moment.

In addition, after today's server reboot, part of the Catchfools functionality has been added to another gravitational anomaly - the Crusher. If you drop a 5.45 round to the very center of it, it will most likely give you two back!

Stalkers, as you know for a long time, we have been working closely on a new pumping system and the creation of a new location "Black Forest". At the moment, their development is in the final stage. This small update is the last before the release of the new leveling system, which will begin public testing no earlier than June 2021.
