Gold Medal Showdown



Don’t feel left out of medal season – climb to the top of the podium to secure the gold, along with some in-game rewards.

Qualifying Round
  • The qualifying round lasts three days
  • Players have a daily chance each day of the qualifying round to secure their spot in the elimination round
  • The top 50% of the qualifying round leaderboard advance to the elimination round
  • Players that qualify on day one (top 50%) do not need to play on day two or three of the qualifying round
  • Players that do not qualify on day one are still eligible to compete on days two or three to secure an elimination round spot
Elimination Round
  • The elimination round lasts two days
  • Players only get one chance to grab a spot in the final round, unlike the qualifying round
  • The top 50% of the elimination round leaderboard advance to the final round
Final Round
  • The final round also lasts two days
  • If you’ve made it this far, you’ll receive a prize no matter what, but the higher you rank, the bigger the prizes
Other Things to Know
  • We base scoring on total strokes, meaning the fewer shots you take to complete your matches, the higher you rank on the leaderboard
  • Incomplete or forfeited holes score as bogeys

Independence Royale



Showdown Royale is a twist on the Showdown events you love, with the competition turned up. Each group will start with only 20 people, reducing by 50% with each round – smaller leaderboards but with a better chance of winning!

This very special Independence Royale features a 3 daily qualifying rounds to take you through the holiday weekend!

Qualifying Round
  • Three qualifying days in the qualifying round. If you're eliminated in the first day, you can enter the qualifying round again in days 2 or 3.
  • The top 50% of each qualifying round leaderboard advance to the elimination round
Elimination Round
  • The elimination round lasts one day, with only one chance to claim a spot in the final round
  • The top 50% of the elimination round leaderboard advance to the final round
Final Round
  • The final round also lasts one day
  • If you’ve made it this far, you’ll receive a prize no matter what, but the higher you rank, the better the prizes
Other Things to Know

  • Fixed an issue an issue causing trouble when rentals expired for players using Advance Mode equipment
  • Fixed an issue in coin games where the losing player username is in all caps
  • Fixed an issue with vapor trails and ball effects on Pixel devices
  • Fixed an issue where putt preview was not showing correct on Pixel devices
  • Updated a visual issue where the Monaco room listed “PRIZE” twice
  • Fixed an issue where buying sponsor apparel in the pro shop caused a background error
  • Fixed a visual issue in limited time coin rooms where the Pack Cap information was displaying that the room cap was set lower than the player cap even when the player’s tier exceeded the cap
