Attention Racers,

We have released an optional update for KartRider: Drift on Mobile devices, to resolve the Twitter login issue. This update is not required at this time, but we recommend updating your mobile clients when possible.

About Mobile Updating:

• Update Date: Thursday, June 8th after 09:20 PM PDT (6:23 AM CEST Jun 9 / 1:23 PM JST Jun 9 / 2:23 PM AEST Jun 9).
• To update, simply go to the KartRider: Drift app on the iOS App Store or Google Play Store and press the "Update" button.
• If the "Update" button does not appear, please close the store app on your device and relaunch it.
• We recommend updating the client through WiFi, for increased speed and to minimize data usage.

[h2]Kart Changes[/h2]

• The following karts have had their in-game models adjusted:
  • Elementary Armchair
  • Intelli-Kart
  • Intelli-Kart Plus
  • Mine Cart

 [h2]Game Mode Changes[/h2]

• The balance of some items in Item Mode has been adjusted:
  • EMP Wave: Now blocks all UFO attacks and Magnet effects from the opposing team against you and your team. Does not affect Magnets used by your own team.
  • Magnet: The acceleration given by the Magnet effect has been reduced.
  • Angel Armor: An attack can now only be blocked once while Angel Armor is active.
• The chances of getting some items in Item Mode has been adjusted:
  • Some items have also had their rates changed based on distance from the 1st, front, and back place racers.
  • Some items also have increased or decreased rates in Squad races, based on your team's overall situation.
• New Feature: Item Log
  • Item Mode can now display a log of items being used by everyone in a race.
  • The Item Log will display when an item is used and it successfully hits or is blocked by another player.
    
    
  • Note: Angel Armor is displayed immediately upon use.
  • You can enable or disable the Item Log in the [Settings - Gameplay] menu under "Other".
    
    
• Quick Escape has been improved:
  • Quick Escape now displays your progress in escaping a Water Wisp or Water Bomb attack
    
    
  • A visual effect has also been added for when you succeed at Quick Escape.
• Boost Gauge differentiation has also been applied to Infinite Boost Mode.

 [h2]Balloons[/h2]

• A new upgrade tier for Balloons has been added (higher tier Balloons have all effects of lower tier Balloons):
  • Common (Default): (Item Mode) Replaces the "Missile Hit" effect with the "Banana Hit" effect.
  • Fine (500 Lucci): (Speed Mode) Increases the Boost Gauge's automatic charge.
  • Rare (1,000 Lucci):
    • (Item Mode) Reduces the number of inputs required to Quick Escape when hit by Water Wisp or Water Bomb items.
    • (Speed Mode) Further increases the Boost Gauge's automatic charge.
• Improvements have been made to the Balloon equip warnings:
  • A message will now be displayed when a Balloon quantity of "0" is added to a preset.
  • A message will now be displayed when a Balloon is unequipped by consuming the last one.
  • A message will now be displayed when you attempt to refill a Balloon at its max quantity.

 [h2]Decal Market[/h2]

• Added an "Earning Details" button, which shows the earnings history of expired decals.
• Terms of Service and UGC Policy buttons have been added to the menu when listing decals.
• The button to move to the next page will now be disabled on the last page of the Market.
• The button text will change to "Delete" when attempting to delete custom decals listed in the market.
• The text in the notice for deleting decals has been updated.
• Accounts that are restricted from reporting decals due to false reports will now be able to see how many days are remaining on their restriction.

 [h2]Social[/h2]

• When entering a Custom Race while in a party, fellow party members will now automatically join the same team when possible. If there are insufficient open slots for the entire party, some party members may be assigned to other empty slots.
• When all party members are Ready, the party leader's "Ready Check" button will now be disabled.

 [h2]UI[/h2]

• Additional information has been added to the upgrade screen to describe what effects upgrades to karts will have, via the Detailed Performance Description screen.
  
  
• Your progress in drafting other Racers is now visible in the speedometer, with a rising "Draft" bar.

• The images for some items in the K-COIN Shop (PC and Mobile only) and Xbox Store (Xbox only) have been changed.
• Nexon Launcher and Steam only: The Payment Currency Notice in the K-COIN shop has been improved.

• The Hot-Time Event will now also apply to Time Attack and Mode Lab play.
• Xbox and PlayStation only: The button for Leave Party and Party Finder have changed.

• Fixed an issue where the wrong rank from Season 1 Grand Prix would appear in the [Profile - Grand Prix Record] menu and in the Hall of Fame.
• Fixed an issue where no error message would appear when reporting a decal in the Decal Market would fail.
• Fixed an issue where the focus of the selected tags at the top and the bottom of the Decal Market Search screen was inconsistent.
• Fixed an issue with Favorites not being counted if another action was taken after Favoriting the decal in the Decal Market.
• Fixed an issue in the Garage where the kart might stop moving when returning to the main Garage menu after selecting the kart.
• Fixed an issue in License Mode where the AI leaderboard might change when certain AI racers appears.
• Fixed an issue with the character and kart not being placed in the center of the screen after completing the tutorial.
• Fixed an issue with some UI information being incorrect while moving the play bar during Replays.
• Fixed an issue where the Balloon removal animation may not play if you do not finish in first place during a race that would consume your last Balloon.
• Fixed an issue where your equipped Balloon may not disappear immediately, but instead continue to appear in the Grand Prix lobby after your last Balloon is consumed.
• Mobile: Fixed an issue with the "Pending Registration and Appeal" processing period not being displayed in the [Decal Market - Decal Details] screen.
• Mobile: Fixed an issue with Racing Pass and Challenges UI getting disabled when you return to the lobby after entering the Garage or Shop.
• Mobile: Fixed an issue with the position alignment of the download cost amount within the Decal Market being different from PC and Console.
• Android: Fixed an issue where the decal's thumbnail would not appear when listing a decal on the Decal Market.
• Android: Fixed an issue where getting hit with the UFO might not properly vibrate the device.
• Android: Fixed an issue with the Back command not working in the Training Course.
