0.2.5 is online now!

0.2.5 is online now! We fixed the 0.2.4 version and added a few little things.
**STATEMENT**
We know the tournament is currently running and it is no good practice to change the version during a tournament like that. But we feel like we had to do this. Actually we wanted to play the tournament on 0.2.4.

One of our big tournament partners is LIV and the performance boost in this patch is very important for the LIV-TT streaming contest. Besides that, the claim radius for towers were not as intended in 0.2.3! We reset the claim radius to the old range - this has surely an impact on the gameplay, but you all have the same conditions! You all played the group stage on 0.2.3 and will play the next stages in 0.2.5. The heal radius increase has also an impact, but I think every one of us is happy about that and the old radius was still quite frustrating (: The other changes do not affect the gameplay anyways. Hope you guys are fine with that and I wish all of you the best for the rest of the tournament and to all other much fun with your friends! :)

• HubLane shields. The player can toggle a shield on the hub lane to avoid getting shot by other players. Default it is enabled


**CHANGED**
• Heal radius increased from 1 to 1.25
• When a 3vs1 players were in the lobby, no bot was added. Now the match gets filled by bots


**FIXED**
• Stabilization of team changes in general - 8 players team change did not work at all
• Animationstates fixed: HoloPopUp and in-game menu should be more stable now.
• The bHaptics arm sleeves did not work. Now they have feedback for shooting, claiming, and getting hit on the gun.

• General performance improvement
• With the last patch some tower which should not be claimable on a specific spot was suddenly claimable. We fixed this.
• Sometimes the bots got stuck and could not shot for a while - they will aim for you more often now!
• LIV Users were not able to adjust their playspace and sync that with their avatar.

Performance Update

Hey, everyone. We got a sweet little update for you guys! Currently, we are working on some bigger fixes, features and the tournament (check #summer-cup) right now, so this patch is not that big, but still necessary.

[0.2.3] • 2020-06-12


ADDED

• Get your mates together and build up teams! Did you guys already know about our tournament? We added an info panel with a hyperlinked image in the main menu. Just click on it to open our tournament info page in your browser.
• Where am I? To ensure you guys know on which region you currently play, we added a dropdown on the top-left corner of the Custom Match UI (room list) where you additionally can change your current region. See Changed section for more news about that.

CHANGED

• Did you every travel between North America, Asia, and Europe in a few seconds? No? We got you! The region change does not need an application restart anymore!
• We allow the quick reset of the playspace in the hubscene now. This is to reduce the complications with the playspace issue of Rift S and Quest users.
• We removed the china region because it causes region change issues. Global and Europe regions merged.

FIXED

• We removed a visual bug while scene loading, where the teleportstripes were visible in front of you.
• AAAAAND a (hopefully) huge performance improvement while changing scenes and at the start of the application. We guess that this also removes the low-resolution problem where the application suddenly downscales the resolution dramatically.

We don't want to split our game into small groups, so we focused on some important regions. Please be sure to update your region.
