Trading Cards are ready!

Trading Cards for Slimy Sextet have been approved! Everyone who has played the game for enough time should get their drops immediately, and cards that aren't already in your inventory should drop as you keep playing.

You can also see the game's newly-released Emojis and profile backgrounds in the Steam Points shop here: https://store.steampowered.com/points/shop/app/1189070/

Slimy Sextet is released!

It's out! it's ready! It's here!

I'm happy to say that Slimy Sextet is finally released and available for players to buy and play. It's been a long, bumpy road to get here, but I finally have a game to show you all, and its the biggest, most polished game I've made by a long shot.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the game, helped it reach its audience, and most importantly, thank you all for being so patient as this game went through development! I hope you all enjoy the resulting game, and have fun with Slimy Sextet!

With that said, there are a few things I'd like to announce alongside the game's release.

You might notice that the game costs $11.99 (or a regional currency equivalent) when I've previously said that it would cost more. I had a long discussion with my publisher before launch, and we both agreed that a lower price would be more appropriate for this game. I hope that this will encourage more people to experience the game and feel like they got their money's worth!

I am by no means a perfect human being, and this game is by no means a perfect one. I still plan to make patches, fixes, and improvements to the game even after launch. Translations to languages beyond English are one main target of this, as the Polish translations is still unfinished, and I've been contacted by some players that some of the other languages could use some extra attention as well.

If you have a problem or issue with the game as you play, I encourage you to visit the discussion forum and let me know what you think needs fixing or improvement. I also have some troubleshooting advice listed there, in case it might help some of you run the game better!

Beyond that, have fun with Slimy Sextet, and I hope you enjoy playing my game!

Version 1.0.8 (release build)

This will be the final patch before release, and the one that is available on launch day.
  • Character voice volume adjustments for balancing
  • Some progress on the Polish translation
  • Typo fixes and text adjustments to fit the voice acting. For what should be the final time, hopefully.

Prerelease 1.0.7

  • Adjusted voice volume blanace for harem scenes a bit.
  • Adjusted code for character sprites' eyes blinking to work properly again after the engine update.
  • Fixed more typos, made more edits.
  • Removed some voice files that were being left unused.
  • Updated credits list.

Prerelease 1.0.6

  • Updated Ren'Py engine to 8.1.0, the latest version. This should hopefully fix some issues on Mac + Steam Deck. (Some audio volume mixing has also changed as a result.)
  • Fixed a huge amount of typos and lines that were inaccurate to the voice acting.
  • Finished Russian and Spanish translations. Progress on Polish.

EDIT: It has come to my attention that this update may cause some errors when loading save files from previous versions of the game. This is due to the engine upgrade to Ren'Py 8.1.0. Rollback may solve some, but not all cases.
