UPDATE 22.01.2020

[h2]New Features[/h2]
  • A new "Exp Crystalizer" item is available from city alchemists to craft experience crystals and shards
  • Experience shards and crystals can be converted to the other by simply right-clicking them
  • Planned maintenances now have a countdown in-game below the minimap
  • Added now introductary quest to teach new players the basics of the game
  • Players are now punished with a chat mute for minor offenses
  • Players now get special levelup rewards for certain levels

  • Changed server provider to improve connection problems
  • Enchanting requires magical essence and (for higher levels) experience crystals
  • Enchanting gold cost scales with the item level instead of the npc
  • Rifts now drop magical and hell essence

  • Improved rift monsters aggro logic

[h2]Balance updates[/h2]
  • Ranged attack damage is scaled after subtracting defense
  • Ranged attacks do 30% of the full damage at max range
  • Melee assassin skills to slightly more damage

  • Fixed an issue with dungeon re-entry right after entering
  • Skils now poison, slow and stun properly
  • Skill damage now triggers the steal hp/mp effect
  • Misc. translation improvements
  • Ranged assassin poison skill may now be used with swords
  • Fixed dragonhide monster animation
  • Fixed another steal hp/mp effect issue
  • Fixed an edge case where particles would not be rendered even though they should
  • Fixed whisper and log scrolling

**Changes**
- Defense against great axes enchantment was removed and is now integrated into Great Sword defense
- Defense against wands enchantment was added (and replaces great axe defense on items)
- Players can now re-enter Zagan's dungeon if they get disconnected or leave during the first few minutes
- Yellow ribbon refine material now drops from regular mobs and more commonly
- Added missing refine material for level 56 armors for upgrade from +5 to +6

**Balance updates**
- Stuns were lowered from 5 to 3 seconds
- Players natural hp regeneration was reduced
- Maximum targets for melee hits was increased to 20

**Bugfixes**
- Fixed a possible cause for random hangs
- Fixed great swords being too slow and great axes not being slowed at all
- Fixed the particle effect for steal hp/mp going in the wrong direction
- Fixed party pvp protection overriding duels (you can now duel while inside the same party)
- Fixed magic defense enchantment was absolute and not percentage based
- Fixed an issue that caused enchantments smaller than 1% not to be saved correctly
- Fixed names not staying over players heads when mounted
- Fixed a bug that caused items to disappear from the inventory until the next map change/login
- Fixed the half demons mana shield not working correctly

New Features
- You can now quickly move items from/to the inventory by right clicking while holding shift
- Confirmation popups (e.g. for selling items) can now be confirmed by pressing enter

Changes
- While dragging in the inventory, items are now held by the top to make moving 3 high items less confusing

Balance updates
- Reduced monsters magic defense

Bugfixes
- Fixed chain mail helmet not displaying correctly for female characters
- Fixed an edge case where rift wave spawning could get stuck if the last monster was killed before spawning was completed
- Fixed an issue that caused all ranged monsters to ignore any kind of defense
- Fixed monsters over level 60 not dropping equipment correctly
- Fixed repeated bow and wand attacks not playing correctly on clients
- Fixed invisibility not giving a damage bonus to certain assassin skills

- Added a boss chest to Zagan's loot

Changes
- The task on level 7 of Zagan's dungeon should be a bit easier to understand

Balance Updates
- All weapons had their damage reduced according to their attack speed (10% attack speed -> ~10% less damage)
- Bows/Wands do damage based on distance the projectile travels (more distance = less damage, scaled linearly according to their max range with a minimum damage of 5%)
- EQ drops were lowered by 90%
- Added more monsters to Zagan's dungeon
- The "reward" in Zagans dungeon has a 10% higher chance in addition to it's current "function"
- Adjusted the Shield of Darkness to have more defense in the lower upgrade levels than the Gothic Shield
- Lowered stun chances on all remaining mobs

Bugfixes
- Fixed 100% exp at level 60 would be displayed as 0%
- Fixed monsters/rifts spawning off-map/in the air in some edge cases
- Fixed typo on some high-level bracers that made them have 25% attack speed instead of 2.5%
- Bear space program was cancelled (bears don't start flying anymore)
- Fixes some translation errors

Zargan’s Dungeon Update

**New Features**
- Added Zargan's Dungeon, a raid accessible through the snow map from level 45
- Added player death sound effect
- All equipment up to level 60 drops from monsters in their respective level range now

**Changes**
- Global chat requires level 15 to send messages
- Changed deadland background music
- Improved duration display for item and status effect expiry
- Pets and mounts last for 14 days and expire only from the time they're used for the first time
- City enchanter can enchant items up to level 60

**Balance updates**
- Doubled all monsters damage
- Increased all weapons base damage
- Reduced maximum Steal MP/HP enchant from 10% to 3% (for a maximum of 6% in total)


**Bugfixes**
- Improved knockback netcode
- Fixed some more monster attack issues
- Fixed sell price not showing in player shops for items that can not be sold to npcs
- Fixed trading items with an expiry time
- Fixed empire selection when creating a new character
- Fixed exp and steal mp/hp flying orbs not being shown
