Suite 776 News

Depth 6 Page is now live!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well.

I wanted to let everyone here know that Depth 6's Steam page is now LIVE! After many months of development, I am very happy to say that the game is almost finished and ready to provide you all with some long awaited spooks.

I have learned a lot from Suite 776 and lots of the feedback received. I have taking this feedback very seriously and have applied the following to Depth 6:
- Multiple endings,
- A random variant system (some events will trigger differently for everybody),
- Longer gameplay and a stronger focus on story,
- Significantly more exploration relative to Suite 776,
- More secrets and optional puzzles to take part in,
- and of course, an Easter egg; who doesn't love a little bit of Easter egg love?

So what are my plans once Depth 6 is released?
Once Depth 6 is fully live, I intend to push out a couple of updates to the game within 1-2 months time. This is to scrub a couple of triggers, add a couple of additional areas to explore and a few additional scares.

Most of my time after launch will be focused on research. Due to Covid, I am focusing full time on Game development and Youtube, so this will allow me to focus on researching areas of game development like advanced AI, animations, and most importantly, for me, it gives me time to finally look into virtual reality (VR). It has been a long-awaited dream of mine to delve into some VR development, so now with all of this extra time to focus on game dev, I can allocate a lot of resources to VR research, And who knows, maybe I will be able to add VR support to Depth 6 and Suite 776 within the next several months.

Another area of importance for me is to research controller support and localization. I know that controller support and a lack of additional languages is a major negative to my titles, so I hope to implement some form of controller support and localization in the future - please bear with me on that! :)

So as always, I wish you all a safe and enjoyable 2021, happy gaming, stay safe, and I look forward to hearing from you all once Depth 6 has been released March 12!

Please feel free to provide some of your thoughts in the comments below :)

Depth 6 - New upcoming terror

I am very excited to finally announce some progress (not final) of my upcoming horror experience.

The name of this game is Depth 6 and fill focus on immersing the player into an experience of suspense, tension and terror, as the further you descend into the tunnels, the more frightening the experience will become.

There is not a whole lot on storyline that I want to reveal, as I am constantly changing it, and have not fully decided on a path to take. But in due time!

This announcement is to just let you all know that I am still alive and am working on a new project :) With school and work coming at me in all directions, it is quite difficult to allocate time to video game development; however, I promise to do my best, apply my learnings from Suite 776, and provide an incredible experience of immersion!

Release date is still unknown. Though, I anticipate early 2021 may be plausible (Feb/March???)

Thank you all, and please let me know what you think of these screenshots. Please note that these captures are not final, and are still "Pre-Alpha".

Cheers, everybody! and happy gaming.

The Stay at Home Sale

Hello everybody, I hope all of you are doing well despite the circumstances we are currently facing on a global scale, today.

With many of us now working from home, studying from home or just staying at home in general in order to self-isolate, I truly want to wish you all a warm, safe and eventful weekend. As such, I would like to provide you all with Suite 776 for half-off to ignore the current horrors of the world and focus on the horrors of the virtual world.

I understand that for most of us, this is a hard time to get through; however, if we all work together to solve this global problem, I am sure we will all make it through the end of the tunnel stronger than ever!

I wish you all the best out there! Stay safe, stay warm and happy gaming!

Thank you all for the support!

I just want to start out by saying thank you to everyone who purchased Suite 776 - your support means a lot and definitely helps support my journeys in the next project(s).

I genuinely did not expect Suite 776 to be this much of an interest to many. It got to the point where it was maintaining 100% positive reviews for a few days - and that was awesome!

I mean, what's not to like - for the price of a coffee, you get a 1 hour experience that hopefully scars you for life :)

All jokes aside, I truly appreciate the support and will always strive for a BETTER game every single year. I read all of your reviews and watch most of the videos online, so i get a bit of a grasp of what you all liked, disliked, etc...

The common complaint of Suite 776 that I've noticed is its length - 50 min estimate for the basic play through and ~ 2-3 hours for all achievements.

There are 2 reasons why I always make short games
1) I keep getting new ideas for new games, so I want to finish up current projects and move on to the next.
2) I want to pump out at least 1 game a year - and unfortunately, with school and work being a big part of my life makes it a little difficult to put all my focus into development.

Nonetheless, I will take this comment very seriously and will try to increase the length of my upcoming projects without jeopardizing quality.

In short, I wanted to say thank you one more time, and I am definitely looking forward to announce my next games when the time comes!

Cheers, everybody! and happy gaming.
