Version 12.0.0 Update

Version 12.0.0 Update

New "Bonus Abilities" Function
We have added a new method of making your favorite characters even stronger than before.

Bonus Abilities are extra abilities that you can choose for a character. You can set a maximum of two Bonus Abilities to each character. The first Bonus Ability slot unlocks when you power up all a character's Character Link slots to level 15, and the second Bonus Ability Slot unlocks when you power up all Character Link slots to level 20.

Bonus Abilities
One Bonus Ability can be set in each Bonus Ability slot. However, the same Bonus Ability cannot be set twice to the same character. Also, some Bonus Abilities have a limit to their maximum effectiveness. If the combined effect of a Bonus Ability and the maximum effect of any Soul Traits, Innate Abilities, and Skills a character can attain by fully upgrading their Soul Tree exceeds the limit for a given ability, the relevant Bonus Ability cannot be applied to that character.

We have identified an issue whereby a pop-up about unlocking Bonus Ability slots will mistakenly be displayed again when checking the Bonus Ability slots after Resurrecting a character that already had Bonus Ability slots unlocked.

We plan to fix this issue in a future update. Please note that this is only an error with the pop-up. Bonus Ability slots are still carried over to Resurrected characters.

Available Bonus Abilities

Bonus Abilities with Maximum Effect Limits

- Bonus Ability values listed as "Same as skill" have the same effect as the standard skill of the same name.
- Maximum limits indicated by numerals rather than percentages indicate how many times a character can have that ability. This is the combined number of Bonus Abilities as well as Soul Traits, Innate Skills, and Skills a character can attain by fully upgrading their Soul Tree. A Bonus Ability cannot be applied to a character if the result would exceed this limit.

Bonus Abilities without Maximum Effect Limits

Bonus Ability values listed as "Same as skill" have the same effect as the standard skill of the same name.

Character Link Slot Levels
The maximum Character Link slot level will be increased from 10 to 20. Increasing a Character Link slot level to level 20 will increase the stats the base character inherits from the linked character to 30%. Coins and Link Slot Potions, Super Link Slot Potions, and Droplets of the same Attribute as the base character are required to increase a link slot's level beyond ten. Super Link Slot Potions can be acquired from Inheritance Trials.

Character Level Indicator
With the addition of level 20 Character Link slots, the character level color will now change when the character has three level 20 Character Link slots rather than three level 10 Character Links slots.

As a result, some characters' level indicators will change when the update is implemented. We also plan to make some adjustments to the character level indicator in a future update to make it easier to tell at a glance how far a character has been powered up.

Inheritance Trials
Inheritance Trials are time-limited high-difficulty quests. Some enemies in Inheritance Trials have the new "Iron Skin" ability, which means they suffer a reduced amount of damage from attacks. However, this effect is nullified when the enemy is suffering from a status ailment. You can check which enemies have the Iron Skin ability in the Rules section for a quest.

Inheriting Stats
Character Link slots of levels 11 through 20 will impart the following stat percentages to the base character.

- Event specifications, availability times, and in-game balance are subject to change without notice.

New Quest Type
Inheritance Trials are new high-difficulty quests where you can acquire the materials you need to power up your characters' Character Link slots to level 20. Inheritance Trials come in both single-player and Co-Op varieties, each with their own special rules.

Adjustments to Dupe Character Rewards
We will be making some adjustments to the rewards players receive when pulling a duplicate character from a Summons. The adjustments to the rewards will be implemented at a later date.

Adjustments to Quest Preparation Screens
Player selections such as stage rules tabs, special rules tabs, ally selections, and so on will now be saved independently for different quest preparations screens. Also, an "EQUIP!!!" alert will now be displayed if one or more characters in your selected team is not fully equipped with Accessories and Character Links.

Adjustment to Resurrection Trials
Resurrection Rings will now be slightly easier to obtain in Resurrection Trials.

Adjustments to Some Soul Trait and Accessory Descriptions
In order to differentiate Soul Trait and Accessory effects that previously used the word "dodge" from the recently added Dodge ability that some enemies possess, we have altered some text so that Soul Traits and Accessories that give a percentage chance to ignore all damage from attack will now use the word "evasion." Please note that this is just a change in the wording. No change has been made to the effect of these Soul Traits or Accessories.

Issues Fixed
- Players not being matched with AI opponents in Brave Battle leagues Seat 8 to Seat 10.

We apologize for any inconvenience and hope you continue to enjoy the game.

The Machine Society Summons: Magic and Steam

New characters from the steampunk world of the Machine Society are here!

Yoruichi Shihoin

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Yoruichi is a melee strong attack character with the Hollow Killer ability. She comes with both the "Read Hollow Dodges" and "Poison Immunity" Innate Abilities built in at ★5. All of her attacks apart from her second strong attack have a chance to inflict Burn, which combines excellently her 20% Havoc, Frenzy, two-second Debilitator, and Guard Break skills. She is also a useful support character as her second strong attack is a Boost move that can be upgraded by unlocking her Enhancer skill.

Nemu Kurotsuchi

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Nemu is a ranged strong attack character with the Hollow Killer ability, and she comes with the "Freeze Immunity" Innate Ability built in at ★5. All of her attacks have a chance to inflict Paralysis. Combined with her Frenzy, Havoc, and five-second Debilitator skills, plus a charged third strong attack, this gives her the potential to deal significant damage against opponents who are unable to fight back. She can also unlock "Increased Status Ailment Chance Against Speed Attribute Hollows," which greatly increases her chance of inflicting Paralysis to Speed Attribute Hollows. Finally, she can also unlock the "(Team/Party) Technique Attribute Soul Reaper Strong Attack Damage +20%" skill that increases the strong attack damage for any Technique Attribute Soul Reapers in the same Team or Party as Nemu by 20%. (Please note that the "(Team/Party) Technique Attribute Soul Reaper Strong Attack Damage +20%" skill does not stack if you have more than one character with the same skill in a team or party.)

"Increased Status Ailment Chance Against Speed Attribute Hollows" and "(Team/Party) Technique Attribute Soul Reaper Strong Attack Damage +20%" will be the Nemu's Attainable Skills list at a later date.

Mashiro Kuna

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Mashiro is a ranged strong attack character with the Arrancar Killer ability. All of her attacks have a chance to inflict Weaken, which combines excellently with her 20% Havoc, five-second Debilitator, and Reduced Strong Attack Cooldown -12% skills. She can also unlock Guard Break and the new Increased Mind Droplet Drop +17% skill, making her a very useful character for farming.

These new characters will be added to the Epic Raid Advantage character list of the Shrieker Awakened Epic Raid and as bonus characters for The Machine Society: The Key of Magic event.

The EXP and Coins in Kon's Bonanza will be doubled while The Machine Society Summons: Magic and Steam is available, so you will be able to easily power up any new characters you are lucky enough to pull.

Increased Mind Droplet Drop
This skill increases the number of Mind Droplets the character acquires during quests. This skill is triggered when the character is included in a team. The effect of this skill stacks if multiple characters with the same skill are included in a team in both single-player quests and Co-Op quests.

Please note that the effects of this skill do not pass on to the base character when a character with this skill is used as a link. The effects of this skill also do not trigger if a character with this skill is taken along on a quest as an ally.

Fierce Battle Summons: Carnival of Conflict

This Summons features new versions of characters involved in the epic battles of the Hueco Mundo story arc.

Uryu Ishida

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

His unlockable skills include Frenzy and 40% Berserker, and he can also increase the effect of his Reduced Strong Attack Cooldown Soul Trait to -14%. All of his normal and strong attacks have a chance to inflict Lacerate and his Special Move inflicts Burn. His unlockable skills include Flurry, a two-second Debilitator, and Damage to Lacerated Enemies +40%. His second strong attack surrounds him in a vortex that continuously damages nearby enemies, and he can also unlock the "(Team/Party) Heart Attribute Soul Reaper Normal Attack Damage +20% " skill that increases the normal attack damage for any Heart Attribute Soul Reapers in the same Team or Party as Renji by 20%! (Please note that the "(Team/Party) Heart Attribute Soul Reaper Normal Attack Damage +20%" skill does not stack if you have more than one character with the same skill in a team or party.)

He is also the first character in a long time to come with the Increased Crystal/Jewel Drop Soul Trait, making him a useful character for farming power-up materials. Finally, he is also able to unlock Paralysis Immunity, making him very useful on quests with a lot of Paralysis inducing enemies or hazards.

These new characters will be added to the Epic Raid Advantage character list of the Shrieker Epic Raid and as bonus characters for the Soul Eater event.
