Hey rulers!

Warnament relies heavily on its fantastic Discord community. Since the pre-beta days, Scenario Editor was available from the game, allowing the players to create their own stories on any in-game map.

But most importantly, we have Map Editor as a standalone app, which allows you to create your own worlds!



It may look janky at the moment (we'll fix that in time), and currently only available for Windows. But its features were tested throughout the last couple of years, and it's proven to allow creating amazing stuff! In fact, some of it is so amazing that we added them to the main game:

America - Jaba

World Map - ZacharyBachary

And if you tune in to the 'Maps' channel on our Discord server, you will probably find some more... extravagant works:

Sun Path - Ратник

And you know what? If you want to create a map of your own you can do it right now!

• Here's a direct link to the app (once again - Windows and Android only at the moment)
  
• Once the game is out, you will also find the editor in the game folder: open your Steam Library, find Waranament there, click it with your right mouse button, then select Manage -> Browse Local Files, and find the Map Editor in its' respective folder
  
• If you need some guidance, refer to this channel
• Steam Workshop support is also just around the corner, which will make handling maps and scenarios much easier

The big news is all in the headline: Warnament v1.0 will be released on Steam on August 7!

Now, let's talk about the details!

First and foremost, we decided not to release Warnament into Early Access. The thing is, most of the features we were planning to introduce during the EA are already in the game. Hence the somewhat unexpected release of v1.0.


But guess what: all the promised content will still be delivered as free updates! Check out our latest version of the roadmap:


Warnament will be delivered along with 3 DLCs, which you can buy separately or as part of one of the 3 editions.

All items in those DLCs are purely cosmetic, you will get full game content (along with future updates) by purchasing the main game.

Buying DLCs is a way of supporting us (and maybe inspire to make Warnament 2?).

Believer Edition includes the main game and the soundtrack by Arman Mkhitaryan and Aizek Stellar. Attention-grabbing drum sounds keep players on edge, reminding them of battles raging in the background, while calm, slow-paced tracks capture the feeling of peaceful time and the development of the country.

Leader Edition includes the base game, the soundtrack, and the art pack with over 50 images created during the game's development. It includes banners, sketches, visual ideas which were declined, loading and victory screens, as well as illustrations for all in-game events.


And the richest of them all, Noble Edition includes everything mentioned above and all the cosmetic items from the mobile version, including alternate skins and animations for unit, emojis in multiplayer chat, and much more!

Please expect another email from us on August 7 - we wouldn't like you to miss the release along with respective discounts.

[h3]v0.9.38 Released![/h3]

• Icons have been added, and the tutorial has been generally improved to make it easier for new players to learn the game
  
• The tutorial doesn't start automatically when you first launch the game; instead, a pop-up appears offering to guide you through it. You can now restart the tutorial from the settings menu
  
• Incorrect texts in the tutorial have been fixed (now there will be different texts depending on whether you're playing on PC or mobile)
  
• Fixed a menu bug when navigating to the political decisions menu via events.
  
• Fixed a turn freeze issue when annexing a vassal
  
• Fixed a bug where the world map might be inaccessible for mobile players

[h3]v0.9.36 Released![/h3]

• A new technology branch related to Shock Infantry has been added. It grants access to a technology that unlocks a unique building: the Training Camp (allows you to convert regular infantry into Shock Infantry), as well as technologies that improve Shock Infantry (enhancing their effectiveness when attacking from sea provinces and granting immunity to chemical weapons). On Android, this branch is available through a purchase; in the beta, it is unlocked by default
  
• A new "Events" section has been added to the "Join" menu. Owners of global servers can now create events to attract players to their games
  
• Two new purchases have been added for the Android version: one unlocks the new technology branch, the other unlocks ideologies
  
• The World War I Historical scenario has been updated: historical inaccuracies have been fixed, and new events have been added
  
• Fixed lag issues caused by terrain textures on large maps
  
• Improved the readability of capital city names on the map
  
• Various minor bug fixes
