Hey, rulers,

This update doesn't bring much new content: it's summer, after all, and we hope you're reading this by the pool, with a coctail in your hand!

We took a pause from adding new features to do some other beautiful Warnament-related stuff: for example, we're now working on a new trailer for the game!

At the same time, new sounds are about to emerge in the game (and existing ones will be improved, too). That's another thing that's happening behind the scene, and you will see (or, rather, hear) the results in a few weeks.

In the meantime, we've added at least one feature for those of you who want to make their own epic videos in Warnament. More on that below.

• New console command for video makers: type '/cinema add' in the chat to create a point of interest. You can create as many points as you like. After you're done, type '/cinema play X' (where 'X' is the number of seconds) and watch the camera fly through all the points of interest and camera angles you selected earlier.
  
• Added community translation for the Swedish, Finnish and Dutch languages
  
• Improved interface display for exotic screen resolution settings
  
• Minor bug fixes

• In the map editor, added an option to scale vertices in sync with the map texture
  
• Improved compatibility between custom maps and scenarios: from now on a scenario will work on a map even if the latter was modified in the Editor

• Added darkening effect along the borders of all countries on the map
  
• Improved balance. Now it's too much easier to improve infrastructure, and improving infrastructure gives you a lot of benefits.
  
• Bots became a bit smarter (of course, not as smart as you, but they are trying!). Now they better organize the army, change the tax rate, and set the budget.
  
• Bug fixes and performance optimization (as always)

• Each province now has its own interface for independent development
  
• Each province has its' own level of economic development, which can be stimulated by investments from the state budget. This will result in higher income, bigger garrison, and more slots for buildings
  
• Reworked economics and diversified budget options for each country. You can now stimulate science, infrastructure, or population separately
  
• Added map lenses and options for setting up infrastructure in the scenario editor
  
• Improved zooming on custom maps
  
• Minor improvements for UI and bots

In this update, we're changing the rules for capturing provinces, to make it more realistic and interesting. Other peculiar changes have happened as well, see more details below:

[h3]v0.9.14 Released![/h3]

• Garrisons were added to each province. Subsequently, the requirement for a minimal amount of troops to conquer a province was removed. From now on, to secure a territory, one must completely destroy its garrison. Garrisons slowly recover during 10 turns, if they manage to survive an attack. The size of a garrison depends on the economics of the province where it's stated. Therefore, conquering an advanced province (like the capitals of states) requires more power - using artillery will be especially effective. Respectively, poor and faraway provinces can be taken with a modest amount of infantry
  
• Two new events were added, linked to the capitals of states. One of them alerts you when your capital is under attack, and the other one urges you to take it back, if it is captured
  
• UI now only displays resources that correspond to unlocked technologies
  
• Improved rendering of big maps, now they look prettier and no longer have problems with icons' display
  
• Map loading optimized
  
• Improved interface for technology tree and province menu
  
• Bug fixes for MacOS version
  
• Fixed a bug that prevented saving the game in multiplayer
