A new update of the achievements beta is now available on the beta branch. It contains several fixes, as well as achievement translations for all languages.

If we broke stuff or you have feedback on the achievements update, please let us know by using the in-game feedback form (opened by pressing F11 while in the game), or on our discord’s beta channel.

• Hide achievements button for scenarios that don’t have achievements
  
• Fixed manually subscribed steam workshop items without image breaking the in game workshop screen
  
• Editor - A border is now automatically applied to unit portraits in battle
  

To participate in the beta program, go through the following steps:

• Right click on Starship Troopers: Terran Command in your Steam Library
  
• Click on Properties
  
• Click on Betas
  
• Click on drop-down menu and select "Beta - Open Beta"
  
• Then Steam should automatically update the game and download the beta

The Federal Council has been hard at work on their latest technological breakthrough - Steam Community Items. These highly collectable items are now available for you to obtain and show your support in the war against the bug menace.

Starship Troopers: Terran Command has just released its Steam community items for your enjoyment. These items will enhance your gameplay experience and make you stand out among the rest. Show off your allegiance to the Federation with our exclusive cards and badges. Let your enemies know who they're dealing with.

It's time to gear up that profile, Troopers. Take pride in your service to the Federation and show your mettle on the battlefield that is your showcase page. Get the Steam community items now and join the fight for a better tomorrow!

What are you waiting for? Acquire all the items and use them now! The Federation has deemed it appropriate to issue you the following items: 6 trading cards, 6 badges, 5 emoticons and 3 backgrounds.

We have released a new update for the open beta.

Here is the full changelog.

Fixes:

• Fixed not being able to purchase new units in custom workshop scenarios.
  
  • Deployable unit types settings might be lost for scenario creators that resaved their scenarios using the last open beta. You can configure them again in the editor under Settings → DeployableUnitTypes
• All achievement icons are now in the game
  
• Fixed achievement progress not updating in some scenarios.
  
• Fixed Spanish translations not displaying properly
  
• Fixed several decorations not displaying properly when playing scenarios
  

Known bugs:

• No translations for achievement descriptions.
  
  • Translations for the achievements are still pending, so only the English version of the translation text is available in the open beta.

Each campaign scenario has two unique achievements that can be earned by the most skilled and bravest Troopers out there. In addition, there is a set of global achievements related to your performance across the game.
