Ghost on the Shore News

We’ve been working on one of the more uncanny scenes in Ghost on the Shore - the graveyard. A lot of game lore will be buried in this area. The fate of some of the fascinating islanders will be revealed on this piece of sacred land.

3D artist Kaat Van Thillo created a little sneak peek walkthrough for you, in which she shares a personal story related to this area.

Ghost on the Shore is brimming with stories that are waiting to be discovered. Abandoned villages harbor lost items and forgotten belongings. Hidden tapes and letters anticipate recipients. Riley experiences inexplicable visions. These islands want to share their stories with the player. As you document your findings in the travel journal, you unveil the tragic history.



This week our 2D artist Steven Vergauwen is grinding away and we love getting these drawings from him. We wanted to share some of those with you.

Hello, Ghost on the Shore fans!

Did you know that games often don’t get made in the same order you're going to play them?

It's not unusual to only start working on the opening of the game well into the development. And this past week, we've been doing precisely that - working on the game's intro. What do you think of these first visuals?

A storm at sea takes Riley by surprise. Waves crash against her small vessel. She panics as rocks scrape the hull. In the howling wind, she hears a voice.
