Update #53: Added card damage preview and other player-requested battle features

The EA 1.53 version of "Rebellious Godsoul" is now live![/p][p][/p][p]In response to many player requests, we’ve added the following important \[Battle Features][/p][p]1. Added a quick Phantom switching feature in the Tactical Plan menu.[/p][p]*This is the quick access for switching Phantoms. Feel free to leave suggestions in the comments.[/p][p]2. Card damage preview is finally here! Enhanced the mechanism for scanning Phantom saves to obtain achievements.[/p][p]5. Fixed the card collection display issue. To make it easier for players to create content, we are also developing a story editor in parallel. A tutorial will be provided when the feature launches.[/p][p][/p][p]We also plan to release Workshop features related to cards and stages in the future. \[This project is more challenging than the Story Workshop.][/p][p][/p][p]The Roguelike mode is also in development. Most UI prototypes are complete, but it will take several more months to finish the full mode. 52nd Update: Combat UI Improvements and Persistent Steam Deck Crash Fix

[p]Hey, cool rebels, good evening!
This is an important update aimed at significantly reducing crashes, and it's also our first optimization for the combat performance![/p]

[p]In this update, we've made multiple changes to the combat UI avatars, including adjustments to the health bar, damage numbers, animation, and buff displays.
Thank you all for your patience! We have completed a full overhaul of the combat avatar code.[/p]

    [/p][p]Between EA1.0~2.0, several transitional updates are planned. These will include card/monster balance adjustments, gameplay optimization, and further enhancements to Linker stories. Some QoL features such as renaming the protagonist will also be added.[/p][p]
    [/p][p]Gameplay Optimization: Nodes already cleared in Heterotopia/Abyss will no longer block progress with repeated battles/events.[/p][p]
    [/p][p]Major Future Plan: Chapter 1 Remake[/p][p]As the current Chapter 1 didn’t meet our narrative expectations, we’ve decided to rebuild it from the ground up.[/p][p]【New Chapter 1】 is expected to launch in Q3 of this year. It will be a large update featuring a brand-new story that replaces the old one.[/p][p]There will also be a Story Recap feature to let players with old save files enjoy the new Chapter 1 content.[/p][p]

    Update #48: Free Mouse Cursor Gift & Map Exploration Markers Added (Important)

    Around 13:00 on May 28, 2025 – EA V1.48 Update

    1. Major Feature!
    The highly requested [Exploration Status Indicator] is now live in its first version!

    On Abyss in-combat maps and Heterotopia overworld maps, you can now see which nodes you've already explored.

    Unvisited nodes will be hidden by fog of war.



    Note: The Abyss teleportation feature will also adopt similar visuals in future updates – currently, it's not yet implemented.

    2. Adjusted passive voice triggers for the Linkers [Zeus], [Lirohela], [Dracula], and [Faith] to reduce repetitive voice playback.

    3. Godsoul combat expressions improved – more expressive reactions during battle!

    4. Fixed CG Gallery issues – all CGs from main story, Favor events, and Linkers can now be collected 100%!
    (For older saves, simply skip the cutscene again using the upper-right option to re-trigger the unlock.)



    5. Improved localization for various languages.

    6. Fixed face shadow textures for Linker [Gaia].
