As the Holiday season nears, we've been working very hard to bring you some festive surprises this Christmas. πŸŽ„ Here's what you can expect...



New Features πŸ’«
  • Check out the new Collisions feature!

We added the possibility to select the desired collision type for your asset through the Remix Panel. This will empower you to control exactly how you want your assets to behave in your experiences.
  • For basic and performant collisions, select the Box Collider.
  • For more precise and immersive collisions, select the Convex Collider.
  • For very precise, but non physical* collisions, select the Concave Collider.


*Because Concave assets have a collider applied all around them instead of over them like Convex assets, the "Is Physical" Remix cannot be activated due to performance implications. You will still be able to collide other assets onto them, but gravity and force won't be applied to the concave assets. We recommend using them only for very precise environmental assets, or when you need them to contain other assets (shelves, containers, boxes, etc.).


Improvements πŸ‘πŸΎ
  • Following our new Collision feature, we have greatly improved the visual of our Remix Panel. Check out this "before-after"; sweet, eh?!


  • A Color field was added to the Glow Node, to give the users more flexibility.


  • We have improved how we handle Voice Sessions in Multiplayer. Users that get disconnected or timed out after a long period of inactivity are now being reconnected automatically when coming back to their Session.


Bug Fixes 🐞
  • Fixed a problem with the Canvas Zoom / Unzoom, where doing the action when first opening a Canvas would trigger the action twice.
  • Fixed an issue where Canvases could be opened and brought in Preview mode.
  • Fixed an issue where selecting a Mechanical asset as a Node Reference would get difficult because the pointer would not collide properly with the asset itself.
  • Fixed an issue where avatar orientations in Multiplayer would sometimes mismatch the actual orientation of the user.
  • Fixed an issue where undoing the creation of a Starting Point would leave you with no more Starting Point, instead of returning it to its initial position in the Space.
  • Fixed an issue where Remixing the volume of a Media Panel would impact audios, but not videos.
  • Fixed a problem that prevented some users to Remix Particle Systems.

  • Come check out our new Avatars! Select your Avatar from a diverse selection and enjoy a truly immersive experience by joining Multiplayer sessions with your friends and coworkers!


  • Moreover, we reworked the Voice Spatialization by ensuring audio sources are correctly aligned with the new Avatars and optimizing spatialized audio thresholds to make your conversations more captivating and enjoyable.
  • Finally, we combined the Voice feature with the new Avatars by adding voice recognition so that your Avatar lip syncs what you say! You will now be able to see each others talking during Multiplayer sessions.
Improvements πŸ‘πŸ»
  • We added a Settings Panel to your Canvas so that you can easily remix your Canvas parameters. This feature will also allow us to customize and add more features to the Canvas in the future. Stay tuned!
Bug Fixes 🐞
  • Fixed an issue where downloading one of your own Space would not load the Space media correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where a downloading Space preview was not displaying the correct Space.
  • Fixed an issue where canceling the download of a Space would prevent you from downloading it a second time.
  • Fixed an issue where duplicating a downloaded Space would make its Media Panels unplayable and its media invisible.
  • Fixed an issue where imported assets would have offset bounding boxes.
  • Fixed a UI issue where texts in Audio Sphere Remix Panel would overlap with each other.
  • Fixed an issue with the Glow Node were glowing an asset twice in a row would instead multiply the glow intensity.
  • Fixed an issue where you would be able to input negative values in the Glow Node.
  • Fixed an issue where the size of your Space would not be calculated properly by excluding external media.
  • Fixed an issue with Media Panel play button where it would not reset when a media finishes playing and was not set to either Autoplay or Loop.

  • Finally, now you can undo and redo your Canvas changes directly from your Canvas tools!

  • You can now open your Space by clicking the preview sphere.
  • We improved how we handle Canvas names so that each canvas has a unique name.
Bug Fixes 🐞
  • Fixed an issue where the Glow node would not work on every asset.
  • Fixed an issue where a Play Animation node's Start and End values were not respected when the animation was set to Loop.
  • Fixed a bug where the rename prompt could be opened on downloaded Spaces.
  • Fixed a bug on the Show/Hide node on the Particles asset would also start the emission of particles.
  • Fixed a bug where the Show/Hide node would not work on every asset.
  • Fixed an issue for the On Hand Collision node when enabling the Non-Dominant Hand that wouldn't work in Multiplayer.
  • Fixed an issue where unsaved changes were detected for Spaces that contained a scenario right after opening them.
  • Fixed a bug where you could not type decimals using "," when the computer's region settings were set to French.
  • Fixed an issue where Canvas tools were still visible when selecting an asset from the Space for node reference.

  • We added a new Template: the Empty Water Space! You can now enjoy building new environments on top of the water.


Improvements πŸ‘πŸ»
  • We added the remaining download bandwidth information. You can find it in the Download section of the Basecamp. Therefore you will have a better idea of what Spaces you can download before reaching your monthly limit.
Bug Fixes 🐞
  • Fixed an imported issue where imported assets would look different when placed in StellarX. The emissive and metallic maps are now reapplied properly. Sorry for the inconvenience!
  • Fixed an issue where using a quick rotation on a Path would make the Path Lines stop following the Path Points.

It can be tricky in the Metaverse to talk with your teammates🀐. Therefore, the StellarX team has created a new feature to speak clearly πŸ“’. Check it out.


New Features πŸ’«
  • We are happy to announce the release of our VoIP feature for every Multiplayer user! When entering a Space in a Multiplayer Session, Voice communications will be activated by default, but your own microphone will be muted. Access your Shortcut Menu and toggle the Mute/Unmute button to start enjoying spatialized communications with your teammates.


Improvements πŸ‘πŸ»
  • We added a Color Module to our Particle Effect assets. You can now change the color of your particles within your Space and enjoy a whole new layer of customization.


Bug Fixes 🐞
  • Fixed a weird and rare issue where going in a Multiplayer Session would set some assets as physical.
  • Fixed a bug where water would sometimes render over other UI elements.
  • Fixed a bug where the progress bar and the cancel button would not show up while downloading a Space.
  • Fixed an issue where, in VR, the pointer would go through UI panels in the Basecamp.
