If sometimes you feel lost in a 3D space 😱, the following StellarX features will guide you in your virtual endeavors πŸ—ΊοΈ. Indeed, it is always good to know where to go, especially in the Metaverse πŸš€.


New Features πŸ’«
  • We are happy to announce the release of a new Pro Experience asset: the Waypoint πŸ‘£. With the help of a Waypoint, you can now create paths for your assets to follow, adding more depth to your creative experience πŸ‘€.
  • Of course, we also added new Nodes to help you manage your paths as you wish through our Scenario system.




Improvements πŸ‘πŸ»
  • As a Pro user, you can now use a Web Panel to access your Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams meetings directly from StellarX 🧐. Your default microphone will be selected as the mean of communication for the Web Panel.
  • Also, we brought many visual improvements to the Basecamp. Texts are now easier to read, and every UI component has been standardized to give more comfort and improve the experience πŸ€“.
  • Moreover, we improved the error messages format throughout the application to make them easier to read.


Bug Fixes 🐞
  • Fixed the Ginger Bread asset colliders from the Christmas collection to better reflect their size.
  • Fixed reflection issues in the Hello Desert template.
  • Fixed a rare issue where some Spaces could not be played in Multiplayer because of a server validation.
  • Fixed an issue where renaming a Space was not possible in Desktop mode.
  • Fixed an issue where the water from the Forest template would be rendered before other UI elements, creating a weird overlap effect.
  • Fixed an issue where Avatars' feet in Multiplayer would be reset at the center of the Space when going out of bounds.

New Features πŸ’«
  • We added a new node: On Hand Collision πŸ–οΈ. This node will help you detect a collision between your hands and a specific asset from your Space.
Improvements πŸ‘πŸ»
  • We improved our Rendering Pipeline to make StellarX look better and more performant ✨! Let us know what you think.
  • We exposed the Min and Max angles for every rotative mechanism (Wheel, Knob, Lever) Reference Node.
  • We improved how we display PRO assets in the collection by adding a label instead of hiding them entirely for free users 🏷️.
  • We exposed the media in the Media Panel Reference Node so you can choose which media to play at what time in your scenarios.
Bug Fixes 🐞
  • Fixed an issue where asset highlights would still be visible when switching Spaces.
  • Fixed an issue where some elements in Canvases could be offset when reopening a Space.
  • Fixed an issue where Spaces could be created or renamed with only whitespaces as a name.
  • Fixed a position issue where opening a Space in VR that you recently closed in Desktop makes you spawn far away in Create mode.
  • Fixed an issue where hiding a Media Panel with a Show/Hide node would not hide its playlist.
  • Fixed an issue where the keyboard could be brought from Create mode to Preview mode in some extreme cases.
  • Fixed an issue where the Space Preview was not updated when updating the Space on the Cloud.
  • Fixed an issue where external media were not properly uploaded on the Cloud when using the Space Transfer feature.

Happy New Year! 🎊 We sure hope you enjoyed the holiday season and took some time to rest up and relax. (We sure did! πŸ˜‰) And, although we spent some precious time with our loved ones, we still managed to get you some cool new updates that you'll be able to enjoy.


New Features πŸ’«
  • PRO users can now create Particles using our Particle System to bring their Spaces to life with awesome effects. Make it rain β˜”οΈ with special water effects, add smoke πŸ’¨, or even create fierce and fiery effects that are legit, lit! πŸ”₯🧯


Improvements πŸ‘πŸ»
  • We improved the visual style of our panels so that they reflect the dark mode vibe we're going for. πŸ‘€ Be sure to check it out!
  • Multi sessions are now available to everybody! (Yes, you read right... EVERYBODY! πŸ™ŒπŸ»)
  • Keep an eye out for the new tooltips and texts we've added to the Basecamp to make your overall experience that much better.
  • In early August, we implemented the Lock / Unlock feature, which made it possible to modify everything in your Space (even the ground and other static environment assets😱). We may have gone a little too far with this feature, which is why we've decided to re-implement the static concept so that certain necessary assets in our Templates (such as the ground, walls...) can't be unlocked or deleted.
Bug Fixes 🐞
  • Fixed a big issue where StellarX would not close properly after opening a Web Panel in a Space.
  • Fixed an issue where the sign in button in the login screen would stop working after a failed sign in attempt.
  • Fixed an issue where asset highlights would remain visible after changing Spaces.
  • Fixed an issue where we could navigate empty pages in the Collections.
  • Fixed an issue where deleting a Space would cause the other Spaces to be filtered in alphabetical order instead of by last modification date.
  • Fixed an issue where Cloned assets would not keep their correct position after a Save.

We hope you've been enjoying the lovely Autumn colors these past weeks. πŸ‚ 🍁 Apart from enjoying the fall weather, we've also been keeping busy with some more StellarX updates. Here's what we've been up to:


New Features πŸ’«
  • We added a clone tool in your Canvas to ease your scenario creation. πŸ‘― Clone away, folks!
Bug Fixes 🐞
  • Fixed an issue where locked assets were sometimes grabbable.
  • Fixed a rare issue where opening the Remix Panel on an asset while it was already opened on a Canvas Node would unexpectedly modify the transform properties of the asset.
  • Fixed a bug with the Remix Panel anchors (the lines that project from the asset to the Remix Panel) where they weren't updating when remixing the Transform properties of an asset.
  • Fixed another issue with the Remix Panel anchors: when cloning an asset, anchors would not update and still point to the original location.
  • Fixed an issue where the Sign In button from the sign in page was clickable more than once. Sorry about that! πŸ˜…
