FREE DLC INCOMING

[h2]I have some exciting news![/h2]
The reception for Just Arms have been great so why stop there?
There reason why it's been so quiet here is because there is a free DLC being worked on.

That's right, 100% free content for everyone owning Just Arms.
This new content will include a completely new map with 3 new biomes, new achievements and new skins.

The estimated time of arrival of this DLC is not set yet but expect it to be soon.

Here's a sneak peak of what's coming.

Just Arms Patch 1.2.0

Long time no see. Things might have been a bit quiet around here, but there has been hard work behind the scenes.
Here are some various fixes and changes.

Additions
  • The last section has been given some more atmosphere so that the players can feel that this is the final stretch.


Changes
  • The first windmill part has been changed drastically. This change was made because a majority of players got stuck on section and it felt a bit too hard overall.


Fixes
  • Fixed issues when physics would collide correctly when trying to ride the windmill.
  • The delay of the boulder spawner in the forst section has been changed from 10s to 12s.
  • The blending between the different biomes should now be less buggy and more smooth.

Release Patch 1.1.0

I would first like to thank everyone who has been playing and streaming Just Arms.
It has been a real joy seeing so much frustration and the pure happiness of those who managed to get to the top.

However, there has been some major issues that need to be corrected.
Down below are some of the most important fixes and changes.

Additions
  • Added zoom out button. A lot of people had trouble seeing a head, which made it hard to predict or strategize their next move. A toggle zoom out has been added to correct this issue.


Changes
  • The player no longer collides with each other in multiplayer, this seemed to cause a lot of frustration and unexpected behavior from the player models.
  • The part with the rolling rocks has been changed, it was far too unforgiving before and some rocks obscured the players view, this was not intended.


Fixes
  • Fixed a major bug where the main menu would appear when you finish the game in single player mode.
  • Fixed a major bug when the game would be softlocked in a menuless state if you went from the main menu to host and then back again.
  • Players should no longer experience "day/night" cycles in multiplayer.
  • Multiplayer should now show the correct name of the winner and not the server host.


Patch v0.2.0 - pre-release patch

I would like to start with an apology.

It was meant for Just Arms to have a new update every weekend, but sadly that timeframe couldn't be kept and for that I am sorry. We live in a strange time with COVID-19 affecting us all.

However, not everything is gloom and doom, for today we release the an update that makes Just Arms a complete game.

You can now play the game from the start to end with all achievements and skins available.

Just Arms is very close to leaving early access and will probably get a full release within the coming weeks.

Additions
  • Added the last sections of the game "Haunted graveyard" and "The Castle"
  • Added Japanese translation
  • Added new dialog for NPCs
  • Added new NPC "The Nun"
  • Added new skins
  • Added new achievements


Changes
  • All selections of the game has been tweaked, some are easier and others are harder
  • Changed NPCs dialog

Patch v0.1.2

Patch v0.1.2 is out now!

With this patch there is a lot of new stuff, fixes and changes.

Additions
  • Added Full controller support for xbox like controllers
  • Added simplified chinese translation
  • Added "Mushroom Minefield" this is an new part of forrest section
  • Added new dialog for NPCs
  • Added new NPC "The black knight"
  • Added the begining of the snow section (This is still work in progress)
  • Reworked the menu to be more readable
  • Added win condition to multiplayer




Changes
  • Punching power of the knight has been buffed with 200 units
  • Areas that were a bit barren before have been populated with more props
  • Boulders in the forrest section should now only spawn when you are in that area
  • Changed max amount of players in multiplayer from 4 to 6




Fixes
  • pressing escape will now pause the game
