New Watch Online page on the official website lets you see a live stream of players currently online and their stats. Also lets you know when people are battling in Zero-G. Good way to know when to jump on or spectate others fighting.

The Zero-G ladder is now up at https://vrjetpackgame.com/ladder/ . Games played at the Zero-G arena above the tower automatically get recorded and calculated for rankings. We'll gradually keep building on this to show player and match history as well.

Tomorrow (Aug.7) at 5PM PT is also another in-game session hosted by Waterflame and pftq. We'll be meeting at the Zero-G arena itself (you can press Z or controller trigger at the startup menu to spawn there). Come join us to get matches in and meet new players. Both VR and non-VR players are welcome.

There will also be a few surprise features/abilities added to the game geared towards team combat. Some of them will be downright goofy but fun to use. Expect to see them in the battles tomorrow.

Latest build just released should give a nice bump up to framerate. On an RTX 2060, I'm able to keep near 90 FPS most parts of the map (the city being the main exception as it has the most detail and is hard to optimize). Anything above the tower should easily stay at 90 FPS and has been that way even before this update (because there are no clouds / rocks / terrain up there).

Gameplay-wise, you can also now start at the Zero-G arena by hitting Z at the server select menu. Just be sure you have your flying and swinging skills mastered, as other players there will be battling for rank and likely have no mercy. :P

Speaking of which, we will be starting our weekly group meetup at the Zero-G arena in a few minutes for those who want to join and battle with a bunch of players. After that, we'll also enter the new wormhole that takes you to outerspace to battle an enemy fleet.

Join us to check out new updates to the map such as this one or just meet and battle with other players. We'll keep these weekly organized sessions going, so it's easier to be online at the same time as other people in the game.

Battles fought in the Zero-G arena are now ranked. Below are highlights from the first ranked ELO battle yesterday. You can now also start directly in the Zero-G arena to challenge other players after reaching it at least once (that will unlock a new start up prompt).

Next organized group event will be Aug.1 2PM PT, with the usual new weekly updates and group battles hosted by Waterflame and pftq. But feel free to start challenging players yourself if you see anyone on livestream (or just hang out in the Zero-G arena and see if someone spots you on cam).
