The Sims 4 will be letting Simmers horse around with neigh-bors in new Horse Ranch DLC
Horses will finally be returning to the Sims series, with a new Horse Ranch Expansion Pack being announced for The Sims 4, arriving on July 20.
Rumours surrounding equestrian-activities in The Sims 4 have been around for a while, but EA finally confirmed the news by sharing a new trailer detailing The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack. There’ll be a new American West-inspired world, mini goats and sheep (which are so cute), and of course, horses that you can raise and train in your own ranch.
The new world, Chestnut Ridge, is a scenic piece of countryside ideal for Simmers to start up their own ranch, cottage, or cabin. It looks like a great addition for those who dream of starting up a farm in The Sims 4, too, with an array of animals to rear.

Work hard and play hard with animal friends and your own stretch of land in The Sims™ 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack, coming July 20. Raise, train, and form special bonds with majestic horses that are customizable members of your family. Skilled horses and riders can even win awards at the equestrian center.
You can also care for mini sheep and mini goats, and invite the neighbors to come see how cute they are.
Spend your days keeping your animals happy and clean, harvesting Prairie Grass to feed them, collecting Horse Manure to fertilize your plants, and making your own Nectar to sell. Do it all on a ranch you design, whether that means a traditional cabin or a big red barn.
Order through August 31 to treat your Sim to some relaxation after a hard day’s work with the Rockin' Rancher Digital Content: a resonator guitar, wagon wheel art, and rustic rocking chair.

Saddle up horses and make nectar in The Sims 4's next expansion
Horses are trotting their way into The Sims 4 as part of the game's next expansion, with leaks sharing some specific details ahead of its full reveal. The official Sims Twitter account did show a short teaser trailer earlier this week of a Sim imagining a life out in the desert, promising a "rootin' tootin' expansion, two bold kits," and a Behind the Sims presentation. You can check out the full trailer for that when it debuts later today, but leaks regarding the expansion were shared on the Sims Community fan site after details and screenshots were mistakenly shared on Steam earlier this week.
