We’ve challenged creators across the globe to find themselves in The Sims™ 4 during an all-night (depending on time zones) stream marathon. There’ll be gameplay, live music, and even stories from the Werewolves dev team!

More content for The Sims 4 is always welcomed by fans, and the latest expansion pack, High School Years, is no exception. High School Years will be taking us and our sims back to school as of July 28, and teenage sims will finally be in receipt of a real education!

The High School Years expansion pack follows the Werewolves Game Pack released in June, but is the first expansion pack to be added to The Sims 4 in nearly a year. The last expansion players could purchase is Cottage Living, which released back in July 2021.

Needless to say, there's plenty to be excited about with this expansion, with players now being able to send their teenage sims off to Copperdale High to live out the real high school experience.

It turns out that school won't be out for summer this year, because The Sims 4's next expansion pack High School Years is set to release on July 28th. The first full expansion since Cottage Living launched a year ago, High School Years is set to do exactly what it says on the tin, massively expanding gameplay options for Sims in their teens.

The pack promises to introduce staples of high school life like attending classes, getting detention, going to prom, and graduating, all as on-screen activities that the player can guide their Sims through. While there's a fair bit of overlap with the series' established college-themed expansion packs like The Sims 4 Discover University, giving this treatment to high school-aged characters is a franchise first, and something that's been on the fandom's collective wish list for a very long time.
